    Hey reader,

So let me start by saying that I really like this 24, apart from it always being busy..

Murray 24 is always clean , the people are friendly well the people the one's that work here , everyone else its up in the air u know  how it goes lol. .

I always see the trainer really getting involved  and explain the moves to the trainee which is always nice ..

Another thing is that the classes always look fun,  even though I haven't got around to jumping in yet but it's on the agenda for sure..

Anyways I don't really have much else to say but where r u :p?

24 HR Fitness is a Fun and busy environment to workout. Many classes are available throughout the day to fit your lifestyle. If you don't like it busy don't come during peak hours 4-8PM M-F.

This is one of the newer 24 Sports in the area. It gets really crowded after work and you may have to wait a few minutes for a machine, especially one of those machines with a personal screen.

I come to this 24 for one reason: Angie. She teaches the Sunday 9am spin class and she is the best. Great personality, funny, always great rides with great music (she plays The Ting Tings!), AND she gives you gum at the beginning of the class!

    CRUNCH!

Imagine a normal 24 Hour Fitness and crunched into roughly half the space, Ta-Da! This gym in basically one big room, with two smaller rooms attached for classes. There is  something about having weights and cardio in the same room that turns me off. Most gyms separate the two which I appreciate.

Much like men with small members and big trucks, this gym obviously knows they miss the mark in size so they make up for it with excessive TVS. Some of the cardio machines even have there own screen so you can pick the show of your choice to watch while you work out. Well i have news for them, I'm on to you buddie! Good distraction tactic but I'm still not satisfied.

Size matters in all kinds of cases. The machines are packed in making maneuvering around clumsy. Machines are always busy, this is a popular location. You might have a little wait in store for you should you have a specific routine you stick with.

This location is in a pricey area so consequently the patrons are more bourgie. Everyone is adorned in there fancy work out clothes. I get the feeling that this is more of a place to pick up on people then to work out.

Not my cup of tea at far at 24 hour fitness locations go.

This 24 Hour Fitness has such a high volume of people working out here, that it is difficult to get a proper workout in during peak hours.  All of the equipment is jammed way too tightly together - that makes navigating the weight room without interfering with other people's workouts difficult.  At some times it can get steamy, sweaty and smelly in here and very few people wipe down their equipment down after using it.  At least there are a few fans in the cardio area, but they seemingly run on their own schedule and aren't turning all of the time.

You are always having to wait for the set of dumbells that you want because there are not enough duplicates.  When one of the 100 pound dumbells broke (undoubtedly from some tough-guy wannabe dropping it), it took several weeks for them to replace it. Of course the 105 pound pair of dumbells look like they're never used.

All three bench press stations are usually full with people lifting the same amount of weight (135 pounds).  Haven't you kids ever heard of "working in?"  I actually saw a guy there once put a couple of 45 pound weights on the bench press bar, then proceed to hook up the bar with bands to dumbells on the floor.   Please.

There is also only one power-cage in the place so you are always waiting for some dork to finish doing his 225 pound half-inch shoulder shrugs (with lifting straps) in there if you actually want to do some heavy squats.  If you are reading this, please do not be one of "those" people.  You are fooling no one. Forget about doing cleans or deadlifts in here because there is not enough room.

In addition to all that, the d-bag frat-boy meat market vibe is high here.  This is my least-favorite 24 Hour Fitness in the area and best avoided in favor of their other facilities.
