Last night, with the first big rain of the season, all hell broke loose up our kitchen sink.
24/7 Rooter and Plumbing came to our rescue as DOUG! When I called I was greeted by a very professional & organized woman who was able to get all the info out of me she needed to get us help(not an easy task since we were bailing & dumping water).
We live in an 1880's vintage house with pipes to go along. Three hours later our drain was running clear-Doug never gave up, not rain, not mud, not the dark in an unlit, leaf slicked backyard could stop him!

We had an emergency gas leak that required Saturday evening service, so we called this company based on the reviews here. First mistake. After they sent out a technician for a "free" estimate, he stated it would be $300 to diagnose the problem, but that amount would be credited towards the final cost of the repairs.
Since we were already in for $300, we decided to go for the repairs with this company. Second mistake. While performing the repairs, he managed to cut the power line to an upstairs apartment, which was not noticed until the tenants came home close to midnight. When he came to repair the line, he said that he thought he nicked a wire during his work, but didn't think it was important.
When he arrived the next day to continue repairs, after all of the correct pipes were identified, he managed to cut into a different - LIVE - gas pipe, filling the entire apartment building with gas. The only reason we knew there was gas in the house was because we smelled it - not because he told us to evacuate the building.
Finally, when the work was complete, it was time to pay. I mentioned the Yelp discount that is announced on this page. He then informed me that I have to mention that *before* they give me a bid for it, so it's obviously a scam get customers mention Yelp, jack up the price, then give a discount on the jacked up price.
After all this, he had the audacity to mention that I already have is cell number and that I can call it directly if I ever need any side work done. Needless to say, I will never call this company again. -

I would HIGHLY recommend this service to anyone who needs a plumber to respond quickly, professionally, and do a great job. Our toilet was clogged and I was able to call and schedule an appointment for someone to come and fix it that same day at 7:45 pm. Jeff B. was the plumber who helped us, and he arrived at our place at 7:45 pm on the dot. I totally appreciated his timeliness.
He fixed our problem and was very friendly and personable while he did it! Who knew that getting plumbing problems fixed could be so easy?!
Definitely give them a call if you're in a bind! -

Last minute trouble at home with the pipes and thankfully this place is seriously available 24/7! We called them on a Sunday at about 6pm and they were here in about half an hour to our rescue. The roots grew into the pipes so the water was not draining properly.
Mark was super nice and helped us clear it out with what I call the snake. It was not cheap, but things like this always happen last minute and we had to get it done.

It was a Saturday night and our toilet backed up. I looked through Yelp for plumbing companies and each company I called greeted me with an answering machine. I contacted 24/7 and a live person answered.
They had someone at our house within 15 minutes. The plumber fixed the problem within minutes. The entire experience with 24/7 lasted about an hour - from the moment I placed the call, til they unclogged the pipes and left - 1 hour total.
These guys are very knowledgeable, dependable and extremely efficient. I highly recommend them. -

NOT cheap (for a clogged toilet), but hey, on Sunday evening when you have no other options, these guys are fantastic. They had a time slot open with an hour and a half and showed up right on time. The plumber they sent was fantastic - worked quickly, explained what he was doing, and tried to not make me feel bad about flushing "the unflushables" (I guess I live in an old building). So embarrassing. $189 later, I'm just happy to have a toilet again.

We had a serious main line clog that was backing up waste water from all three of our units. Called 24/7 Rooter in the early evening on Sunday, Oct 2, and Steve arrived about 45 min later. (This after http://rotorooter.com said earliest appt was the next morning).
Steve was excellent. He was thorough, very knowledgable, willing to get dirty, and made sure the job was completed (not just "done" - there's a difference). I felt the cost was very reasonable considering the time and effort he put in and the pronto service on a Sunday night.
If you call 24/7 Rooter, I definitely recommend you ask for Steve. -

I made a call around 6:00am to look at my sink which would not drain and the only time available for me. I was shocked by their quickness they came right away within 25 minutes. The plumber was great. Friendly, and not even stressing how early it was. He had my sink fixed right away.
I highly recommend 24/7 Rooter and Plumbing if you have any plumbing problems. They'll be more than happy to help you out. -

I called these guys at about 7:30 pm to come and look at a bathtub drain that not only wasn't draining, but water was coming UP the train and bringing debris and water into the tub. I had tried to clear it with Liquid Plumber for hours without success.
They had someone at my door by 8 pm. And, as luck would have it, when I took the plumber into the bathroom, all the water had cleared and we couldn't get it to do anything but drain nicely. Apparently whatever clog had been there had cleared (maybe the Liquid Plumber had finally done its job.) So they didn't charge me a dime.
The plumber, Carlos, was friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the quick service and by the fact that they didn't try to do unnecessary work. (I was also embarrassed that my problem had disappeared and that I'd wasted their time.)
I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. The guy I talked to on the phone was professional and friendly too.
I'm giving them 5 stars for (1) answering their phone at all hours, (2) having someone at my door in 30 minutes, (3) being friendly and professional, and (4) not trying to sell me (or charge me for) work I didn't need. -

Recently my toilet broke on a Friday night, at 7pm. I had no idea what to do and started panicking that I would not be able to find a plumber to come out until after the weekend. I could not go without a toilet. for the rest of the weekend. A friend referred me to 24/7 Rooter and Plumbing as she recently used them and had a great experience. I called them up and a friendly lady took all my information and informed me a technician would call me back. Within minutes, I received a call back from a friendly technician accessing my situation. He helped calm me down and informed me that they would have someone at my place within half an hour. The plumber that came out was very friendly and helpful. He replaced the broken part of my toilet and made sure it was working. He also informed me of some efficient ways of what I can do to conserve water. He took care of all my needs and I had a great experience with 24/7 Rooter and Plumbing. I would highly recommend them as they are very professional, organize, efficient, and friendly. I called today, Kevin came out to the house -nice guy. He was here for 1 hour and 15 minutes, snaking out what he said was 5 ft of pipe, and cleaning debris out of a couple other ones by hand. For this we were charged $315. He had the audacity of suggesting I might want to clean up the debris so it doesn't go back down the drain. "You mean that's not part of the deal", I asked incredulously. "No, not really" he replied.

Prompt, reliable and reasonable. I called them to clear a clog which turned out to be a broken main sewer line. They did the work promptly and professionally from start to finish.

Reliable and SUPER-quick. I called, spent 3 minutes on the phone, and they were at the house in 30 minutes to unclog a toilet. The plumber that came over was very courteous and efficient. Exactly the kind of person you want around when your toilet is overflowing. Definitely call these guys.

Owner contacted me after my previous post and offered to have a look at my bill. He made an adjustment which was much appreciated and placed the total in a much more reasonable realm. Again, service was prompt and capable and I do think you should expect to pay a premium for on-call, emergency service. In this regard, I have no complaint and am now happy with the results.

We had a sewer line backup. They came promptly, and in a short time cleared out the line. This, however, turned out to be part of a larger problem, which they quickly diagnosed, stemming from old (like a hundred years old) and broken sewer lines. They ended up replacing about a hundred feet of pipe all together, a big job! All the work was done in a timely way (they even worked in some pretty strong rains) and in a professional and friendly manner. They also did a nice job of replacing the lawn, garden, and part of of our steps that needed to be dug up for the work. Would definitely use them again!

After calling other highly rated Yelp plumbers on Sunday (who did not respond), I called 24/7 Rooter. I talked to someone immediately who said a technician would call back. 5 minutes later I received a call and was told the technician would be at my place in 1 hour, and I received an estimate over the phone. They arrived within 1 hour and did an excellent job below the quoted estimate. These guys are my new plumbers hereafter!
