Meryl Meyer is new to 220, but started doing my hair years ago in Chicago. All I can say is this girl is amazing and I pretty much refuse to go to anyone else. Color, up-dos, cuts- I've never seen someone leave her chair unhappy and I send most people I know to her. I'm sure if it's esp or a mind meld, but she has a knack for listening and creating a style that suits each of her clients' individual needs.
From what I gather, that's just the general MO for most of the stylists there- everyone is friendly, willing to listen, extremely talented and willing to go that extra mile. The end result is a cool (but not pretentious) place for guys and girls to get themselves done up. Prices are competitive and really an amazing deal, considering the quality!
MELISSA DORRES has been doing my hairs for like, 10yrs now. Yikes. Girls got style and knows what she's doing with her magical shears. The salon itself is small and comfortable while at the same time pretty much stocked full of beautiful people 5 days a week.
I digress, Melissa has everything you want in a hairdresser. She listens, pampers, has vision and there's a very soothing, confident way she handles herself that makes YOU feel confident she's got it. At the same time, she's energetic, excited and passionate about what she does (which makes my little body, quite jealous). She also will take your ideas, combine em with a little touch of her creativity and probably blow your mind in the end.
So go in and see this talented, hot mama. I promise you won't regret it and you'll probably be like, thanking me for saving your hairs one strand at a time. You'll also most likely feel obligated to buy me cocktails (while complimenting me on my fantastic hair wishing you woulda thought of it first). Just sayin.
