Dr. Liu, in my words is a miracle worker and life saver!
I am 31 years old and I was diagnosed with Tinnitus after exposing to some really high pitched computer speaker feedback. For those that do not know what Tinnitus is, it is the super high pitched noise you get in your ear after a night of clubbing or concert. It usually lasts for a few seconds and goes away, but tinnitus is when the noise never goes away.

I went to ENT specialist and i was told there is nothing they can do and i had to live with my condition. I was getting constant headaches and insomnia. My quality of life went from perfect to nonexistent. And it was at this point, my parents referred me to Dr Liu. After one session with her, my left ear stopped ringing. It was simply amazing, and words could not express the hope that was put back into me. Since then i have went to her for many more sessions. My right ear has show great improvements, but i still hear faint sounds.
I plan to continue my session with Dr liu, and i'm looking forward to the day when I can enjoy the peace and quiet around me again. -

Just got back from Dr. Liu today. The reason I put 4 stars is because I'm waiting on the results...then she'll get my 5 stars!
She's super sweet and she definitely has some educational ranks. Like, she has her L.Ac, MS, Ph.D, etc and her place is quite big and nice for an acupuncturist all by herself. Her receptionist/secretary is uber nice too!
I explained to her my symptoms: body aches, low-grade fever, and snot galore. She checked my radial pulse on both wrists, looked at my tongue, and said I didn't need acupuncture...just herbs! yay!
She has a room next to her office where I could hear her literally blending her custom mix for me. I have to down 4 scoopfuls of the herbs in hot water 2 times a day for 5 days. I'm a nursing student and I don't have a lot of time to go through the progression of the flu, so this is the exact reason why I came to Dr. Liu. I needed some powerful herbs to get rid of this bug!

Edit from....YESTERDAY.
I was kinda expecting results like....near the end of the 5 days. Dude, I'm only at DAY ONE, and I feel 95% better (with a residual cough). No phlegm, no runny nose, no head congestion, no lack of hearing (from congestion), no fever, no body aches, no lethargy....I am seriously back on my feet and ready to study study study for my upcoming tests.
She gets bumped up to 5 stars!!
Seriously though, if I hadn't gone to Dr. Liu and get her help, I most DEFINITELY would have been still in pain, sick, tired and more importantly...non-productive. THANK YOU DR. LIU for your awesome expertise and I'm thinking about going back for my chronic allergy problems. I seriously get hives from EVERYTHING...dust, grass, dogs, cats, stress, working out, and even cold water. Hypersensitivity/reactivity is common in my family and we're always taking meds to control it. But I really don't want to always depend on meds to enjoy my life! argh. Maybe I'll put up another edit soon...:) -

I called Dr. Liu on the Saturday of July 4th weekend fora emergency session for my grandpa who had just had a mini stroke 2 days before.
Dr. Liu saw my grandpa right away, and the 2 days following, to ensure a speedy recovery.
My grandpa was numb and weak on his left side. He was not able to walk. After a month and half, my grandpa was able to walk without a cane.
Dr. Liu also gave my grandpa herbal medicine to take home through out the treatment.
Each session lasted about an hour. She changes the position of the needles also based on your needs. -

This review is way over due. I've been a patient of Dr. Liu's since 10/09. During that year, I had come down with Bell's Palsy which is basically paralysis of the face. The entire right side of my face was basically sagging and I couldn't close my right eye.
I had gone to a western doctor and they had told with a regimen of antiviral medication and steroids I could get back movement in my face anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year!!! Being in sales that was just totally unacceptable as I'm sure most of my clients would not want to see me looking like Quasimodo from the hunchback of Notre Dame.
I found her through an acupuncuture website and went to her for treatment and to make a long story short, with 3 treatments and within 1 week she was able to get full movement basically giving the dead right side of my face life!!
My western doctor was completely stunned at how quick I was able to get my face back to normal as some patients do not even get full functionality of their face back!
More recently I had come down with a severe pinched nerve. I went to my western doctor again and all he did was prescribe me a painkiller and told me he would send me to rehab. The painkiller was making me nauseated and the pain just seemed to get more severe limiting my range of notion on the left side of my neck, shoulders and arm.
After suffering in pain for a full week I went back to Dr. Liu yesterday and within a 1hour treatment she was to relieve my pain immediately. I would say after my session, the pain was 60% relieved and I had full motion in neck, shoulder and left arm. When I woke up this morning the pain had subsided by about 90% and as I write this is close to being gone.
I have also gone to her for my severe allerigies (her treatments have me off my allergy meds for months) and TMJ (which she also completely took care of as well)
I rarely give 5 stars in any of my reviews but Dr. Liu has been an absolute god send to me and I highly recommend her!!! -

Dr. Liu has treated me for the stomach flu as well as laryngitis. For stomach flu, I had to make a trip to the emergency room and was throwing up everything I ate. I had constant nausea and could not get out of bed. With one treatment, I immediately felt the shock from the needle, threw up again, and was able to eat after. For laryngitis, I had also gone to an MD and the prognosis for recovery of my voice was two weeks. After Dr. Liu's treatment and herbs, I was able to talk again in a week. She is great with patients and always gives her full attention. The new clinic location is also very convenient with ample parking. I will continue to see her for all my problems!

I've gone to Doctor Liu once for lower back pain after going to the chiropractor for a while. It was my first time, and was quite an experience. Whole visit took about an hour, she first assessed the source of pain, then proceeded with the acupuncture treatment. Her philosophy is a lot different than the western styles of medicine, but it works. After the 30 minutes my lower back immediately felt more flexible, relaxed, and the stress on it went away. After the visit my back was pain-free for a while. Only regret is that it was a one time thing, I live too far away...
