Calamari was excellent, it had a very nice taste to it.

It seems this place is forgotten about in little 'ol Lincoln Park. Support the local restaurants, please!

Go here for a very nice experience with a wonderful staff. O and even get served wonderful food on top of it all.
A very nice date spot that will not kill the wallet.

We just bought a livingsocial coupon so we decided to give this italian place a try.

The deco was very nice and elegant. The waiter was attentive.
We were served bread, butter, and olives. All are excellent.

For appetizer, we tried the "Bistro Calamari" with a sweet and sour sauce. Very tender and tasty.
For entree, my husband tried bistro pizza. Not the best thin crust pizza I've had but pretty good.
I had steak and mushroom panini and it was juicy and flavorful.
Had the cannoli for dessert and it was just the right combination of sweetness, crunchy, and creamy.

    Overall an excellent meal.

Fatos and his brother are the best. They've accomodated my friends and family on numerous occassions, and they're always friendly, courteous, and attentive.

The food is excellent, and like the review above me says, you should definitely try the calamari.

You know that place....the one where the owners sit with you....spend time getting to know you...then bring out delicious food time and time again?  That's 202 Bistro.

The owners are brothers; Charming, friendly and welcoming.  Their menu is small, however they have a great selection of specials each night.

Mushroom Ravioli in a light cream white truffle sauce, balsamic calamari and skirt steak are all very delicious.

While most pizzerias in the area have the standard doughy, traditional pizza, 202 makes very tasty thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas.  Their bistro pizza, with bresola, arugula and truffle oil gets me every time.  It's become a habit.

Give yourself a few hours, have a great meal, and meet some really nice guys!

This place used to be great, but the recent change of management (ownership?) has brought this place down...

I had reservations for 8 of us on Christmas Eve hoping to encounter the great service and food I remembered...However, they were severely under staffed, under organized and apathetic towards our 45 minute wait to simply order drinks...When the food eventually came, it was lackluster at best...

With so many other great restaurants close by, I will not return...

Have always been thinking of going here because I pass it all the time and stopped in on Friday at 5:30p. Place was just getting started, we were about the first people there for the night.
*** NOTE: This is BYOB, so remember to bring something with you.
Very nice atmosphere, dim and cozy. Good for romantic dinner, or intimate gathering of family and friends. There are actually 2 sides of the restaurant, a pizza side and italian restaurant side. Both are decorated very nice, the pizza side has more windows so it is brighter, but all sit down and nice as well. I think next time I want to try that side too.
Had the Halibut special with mussels and a saffron cream sauce which was dynamite. My wife had the Salmon which was a little richer sauce than the halibut with crab meat and vegetables. The portion was huge and they gave a lot of crab meat as well. It was delicious.
Wait staff was excellent, the waiter was very friendly and helpful with the specials and in helping out with questions about the dishes. Even the bus boys were helpful and attentive.
Dessert was a cannoli which was a solid choice and the coffee was fresh and tasty.
Overall we had a great meal, on the mid to high range of price, but that is expected at BOYB places anyway. I definitely would go back for a high quality meal, this place was great. Stupid me didn't do my planning though because I forgot to bring wine and I believe they even run coupons in entertainment book and local papers for discounts.

I've been here before for a sit down dinner and we ordered pizza.  It was pretty good.  We just ordered take out from there and it was terrible.  So I'm not sure if the pizza is worth the money.
