It is surprising this fine restaurant has not been reviewed yet as it provides, at least for us, a memorable dining experience. The fixed menu, which is provided only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, offered three entrees and two appetizers. The chimichuri (I may have that wrong) steak with browned potatoes was very very nice, the potatoes were more flavorful than I have had in a long time, the NY strip steak was nice, the sauce wonderful. A simple salad of mixed greens topped off this $18.95 experience. My partner had Pacific rock fish in a sauce, basmatti rice with an Asian sauce, and broccoli with an Asian sauce which was the best tasting broccoli we have had in a long time and the truly wonderful hot sauce splashed on the plate complemented the entree nicely. The fish was fresh and delicious; this dish was $16.95.

The small, comfortable, and quite interesting restaurant seats only 18 and reservations probably are a good idea. The decor is quite unique, you have to see it to understand but it is fun. The service was exemplary, pleasant and unique music added to the experience. This is quality, carefully and thoughtfully prepared, and wonderfully presented cuisine.

The only downside is that you no longer are able to BYOB and there is no license for liquor, thanks to New Mexico's archaic laws. But overall, this is a place for which we would make the trip to Silver City. Couple it with a stay at the classic Palace Hotel and you have a very nice trip.

I really enjoy 1zero6.   It is a fusion mix of asian, italian, and latin flavors.  If you are someone who has to know every ingredient in your food, don't go.   I love the adventure and my teenage kids enjoy it as well.  You used to be able to take your own wine, but thanks to some local competition complaints you aren't allowed to do that anymore.   Keep it up Jake, we love the food.
