Yes, the marshall let me play with his balls. Yes, I determined that I do, in fact, have a favorite club (the trusty 5 iron). Yes, I learned that you need to use sunscreen all over the exposed areas. Yes, once again, had a fab time with some fab Yelpers including Carl and Will, both of whom I met for the first time. Yes, not only are you allowed to drink beer while golfing, there is a "beer girl" in a golf cart that sells it! Yes, the ducks that live in the water traps are fearless of being pelted by golf balls (much like the guy collecting balls at the driving range... but not as angry). Yes, Jefe proved that it's possible to skip a ball over the water and onto the green.
I was tempted to drop it by one star because of the overall lack of dirty jokes and Caddyshack references but, as Justin said yesterday, you can only come up with so many ball and hole jokes. And, yes, perhaps the final margarita at Polvo's was one too many.
The Lion roars mightily.
That was as fine a time as I've had playing golf. It was the right mix of swing talk (are you still listening Carl?), dirty talk (the Marshall shared his balls with Quani) and baby talk (gap, schmap, babity-bap).
The way I see it Shooter? We've only just begun...

My back hurts, and I have Jefe R. to blame. This was his idea, this whole "Man, Do We Suck" unofficial Yelp golf outing today.
My debilitating back injury aside, this was a great day spent with fun people in gorgeous weather. And then drinks and food at Polvo's.
In attendance:
-The aforementioned Jefe, who organized this shindig and who, it turns out, will not eat beans, even if they are served to him
- Quani C., who proved you really can play 18 holes with four clubs. Go Quani!
- Justin B., the Human Beer Cart
- Camron R., who tried to hook up with my daughter about three seconds after he learned of her existence
- Will Z., who brought his buddy, both of whom appear to the kind of guys who play golf really well but who don't make the rest of us feel like assclowns.
Five stars. Hope to do it again soon. Thanks Jefe! I sleep now.

I think I hit every tree on the course twice, one car and Justin.
Next time we're getting carts.
