Great little place for Dayton. It would probably even do well in a bigger city. I went here twice in the past week for lunch since I was at a client's office down there. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito once and the Chipolte Burger the other time.
The Carne Asada burrito was great. Almost as good as I would get from a Mexican restaurant. The green sauce was a bit off, but overall 4.5 stars.
The Chipolte burger was great!!! Not too spicy, but great flavor. The chipolte sauce is a mayo based sauce. Even though I liked it, some people might not. The only problem with this dish was the fries. I think they were cooked ahead of time and kept warm because they were soggy and mushy when they arrived at the table. The day that I ordered the burrito, my coworker got a burger and said he didnt have that problem. So, I'm thinking that I just wasn't too lucky. -

Sorry to say that the quality has gone downhill under the new owners that have been operating the restaurant for about 18 months. The Mexican food and pizza used to be 5 stars - now 3 stars. It's sad because I really like to support an independent and locally owned restaurant.
The menu has expanded and the place is kept very clean. Still a pleasant place to go. Super large selection of beers on tap.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Glad someone started this review ,
I like this place, I went there recently and was happy to see the brother from La Posad Real' was the main man. !!!
Great food, huge room, LOTS of TV's ....... I was only feeling a burger, and it was great (chipotle something or other) It was not exactly cooked Med Rare like I asked, nor did anyone check on me after I got it
(pretty good idea when someone asks specific questions about cooking a certain way)
But the good news is the beef quality was high, so it was still plenty juicy. But obviously a frozen patty. But to be clear it was a good burger.
I am glad they are there and wish them well, when I'm in the area I will stop in.....
They had Arrogant Bastard on draft !!!! so I better find out where the hotel deals are, or consider putting a pillow and a blankie in the mighty 4Runner.... -

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the greater Dayton area. The owner and his family are very attentive. The food is a mix split between American and Mexican. I believe the American offering is simply average. But don't blame them ..... that's not their specialty. If you eat here, you really need to have some of the Mexican food. Nearly every time I go here I eat the carne asada burrito. You want to talk about a great meal! My wife raves over the shrimp fajita. It is not uncommon for us to drive from Carson to have dinner here on a Friday night. It really is fantastic Mexican food.
