This place this pretty good. They have a big menu with a wide variety meds, Their top shelf is a little pricy but the mid stuff is normally dank too. They almost always have girl scout cookies as well.
You can use their volcano's and help yourself to some munchies while you browse.
Someone different weighs your nugg then the person who show's it to you, so feel free to look at all of their choices.
They have healthy eating posters on the wall and support groups, as well as a couple nice dogs that wander around. -

This is a small and strange setup for a club. People walk in, give them their cannabis card to hold while they shop and the card is given back when the person leaves. They have all the items pre-bagged so don't know when it was done and the weight difference when it is time to buy.
The area to consume the product is a single couch in the corner next to a nightstand table. -

THIS IS MY FAVORITE DISPENSARY!!
I am definitely a regular here at 1944 ocean and I always recommend this place to my friends and co-workers. This place is definitely the spot for QUALITY medication.
To be honest, I didn't really like this place the first time I went here because I wasn't use to it. But after repeated visits, I have grown to love this place for what it is.
This place always always always have the most delicious, stinky, crystal covered nugs! I have never been disappointed. Their 8ths are 4 grams and prices already include tax so you won't have to get coins back like at other places...
I have tried their specials before (4g/$35) which is great for the price.. but I would definitely go for the more higher priced options.
Some of my favorite strains from here: Champagne (4g/$55) SO DELICIOUS!
and BLUE DREAM (4g/$45) ALWAYS GOOD!!
(the blue dream here is really nice and better/cheaper than the ones in other dispensaries)
My favorite budtender is the latin guy with the curly hair. He's really nice and is always very helpful. I do not know his name but he always makes my 5-minute visit a delightful one.
The other budtenders are OK. sometimes they look like they are in a bad mood or just in a less friendly mood but I don't take it personally.
Parking is easy. there is metered parking right in front or you can save your change and walk a block. -

Have you even been to a cannabis club before this one? OMG YOU HAD TO WAIT TO SIGNUP, no shit thats what you have to do when signing up for a place like this. Oh the guys were high.... Really now what are you planning on doing after you leave. The guys and girls working there are really polite and steer you in the right direction always. Stop hating just because you all think you deserve to be waited on hand and foot. If you want the best meds in the city, Ocean is the place... -

I have to re-review as there is way to much negativity for this wonderful club. Mainly I see complaints about the staffs professionalism, but honestly I find it to be a club where they run it as professional as it gets, as efficiently as possible, and with knowledgeable workers.
While they are small and if there is a crowd it will take time to get them through the little space, but it is a very efficient setup for such a small place. Not only do they have a variety of bud at low and high prices, but they also have 3 volcanoes and have even started to promote healthier living as well as installed a blood pressure machine inside.
Now for the staff. I love them and even love that they have had a lot of turnover recently. When I first started going it did have a bit of thug factor because of one employee who I was not a particular fan of, but everyone else was always very knowledgeable and friendly. Fortunately that one person has left and now there is no one inside who annoys me. People also seem to complain about the fact that they are "too stoned" to help, but I have never had a problem getting my meds or even holding a conversation with them as I vaped because they where "too stoned."
All in all this is my favorite dispensary. I like it most because I feel it is less of a pot shop and more of a pot pharmacy. Great easy meds that are not prepacked. While they are not the biggest dispensary they definitively are the most efficient with utilizing the space they have.

Excellent selection, vapor lounge, these guts are worth a visit. The quality of their bud is very high, pardon the pun, and second only to Buddys in san Jose for beat quality.
Unfortunately, they hired hoodlums who are too stoned to give you any real customer service. The service degraded over my multiple visits, even thouhg I bought a good amount, they treated me like I was a bother, one guy even slammed down the strains I wanted to try on the counter so hard I thought he'd break the glass.
While I like the bud, I am not going back after repeated shitty customer service. -

Sorry to report but I was/am not a fan of this place at all. My experience was pretty much like this:
I arrive, walk in to a tiny area where a few chairs and a table is set up next to the guards station and the buildings garbage cans (yuk!) and am greeted by a security guard that asks me to sit down and takes my ID and paperwork, she goes into a 2nd door to hand off my paperwork for verification.
During the next what seemed like forever, I sit and wait while customers walk in (now realize when I say I am RIGHT in front of the doorway I mean that, like 5 feet...as in I am the 1st thing anyone is seeing when they open and close that door - not cool!) and out while they comment about how "ah, they got you waitin huh?!" and "boy you're gonna love this place!"
I wanted to just leave then and there but the security guard had my damn ID and paperwork and was still in the other room! Finally about 10min later she tells me to hold on while she finds out what's taking so long, then goes to the door as they play what ever games with the buzzer and her that they were doing (it was funny, but I was not in the mood for jokes at that point!) - she finally just told me to go to the door and she would manually buzz me in (ok!) and then I'm in....YES! FINALLY...Right?!
No...lol. Now it's time for paperwork...wow...ok... after this is done I proceed to look over their indica selection, did not look impressive, so one of the guys that works the main counter (the one who actually provided GOOD customer service) suggested a couple of sativas (not my thing, but I went with it) and then was given a ticket....uh, ok....wtf do I do with this I ask, and am told to go to the next counter *wtf!* OK....
Here is where it gets even more funny; so I tell the guy behind the glass to give me a receipt, then after he gives me my meds, (all the while making a comment about "oh I see you like Sativa huh?!" and I explained I do not, but since I did not see anything impressive in blue, this was suggested...he went on about how many indicas they had and blah blah blah) and change, I ask again; "my receipt?!" and he's all "oh, only for credit card purchases!" LMAO...so I hand him my cc and he asks for my meds (ok), he gives me back my change, runs my card, gives me back my meds, a receipt and I am out of there....35min this took me....
I also have not heard great things about this place but seeing as rumors are just that, I won't speak on any of that but the cons outweigh the pros for me at this place (a for sure pro is the whole 4.0 1/8 - but the quality of what I got did not = the price I paid, I don't care how much of it I got lol.) so I am sticking with the regular spots I go to from now on. -

I am pleased to say that this place has truly stepped their game up! I've been a few times lately and they made some great changes. Quality has been consistently great, they moved their $45 an eighth stuff down to $40 and so on across the board, and eighths are now 4 grams (and 8 gram quads)! Nice!
This is officially a dispensary worth going out of your way to visit.
PROS:
* The prices aren't just good, they're low
* 4 gram eighths/ 8 gram quarters
* Wide selection and very organized menu
* The better of only 2 dispensaries in the area
* Staff is very knowledgeable, you just have to ask for their advice
* Easy parking
* Located next to restaurants, stores, and K line

Like most places, half the people here understand that you are a medical patient, while the other half are just drug dealers. Hopefully you'll get lucky and get one of the good helpers. I was not so lucky. The chunky 'dude' behind the counter with the baseball cap and hipster/urban facial hair should not be interacting with customers.
Since they sell pot I assume they will always have customers, but I won't be counted among them.

This place was thugalicious.
Lets start with the doorman who was blasting gangster rap, higher than NASA and eating a pot brownie as he checked my info. So unprofessional and sketchy, I should have just walked away.
The place was small and dirty, not a big deal, but when you get used to places like SPARC, Medithrive, and Igzactly 420, you start to expect people to put a little effort into their shop, it's not like the places aren't making money hand over fist, and couldn't spend a couple thousand to make the place look nice and inviting.
The meds, were all right, not bad, but no where near top shelf.
Dont bother with their pre-roll, it's obviously old, weak shake, and a I mean weak.
The budtender I got was nice and explained everything, the other budtenders were a bunch of assholes.
This place is great if you can't make it downtown or wait for delivery.
But I would go somewhere else unless I had no choice. -

This place is great and reliable. From their location to their 4 gram 8th's. One of the first clubs i went to and got an 8th of blackberry kush for $60. It was pretty expensive, but it was the best blackberry kush i've ever smoked. The bud looked like it was coated in sugar. The staff is pretty chill, always really lit but they do know their shit. They've lowered their prices and have strains from $35-$55 an 8th. Their top shelf is definitely some fire, but their cheaper strains are also really dank. I got some grape ape for $80 a quarter and it was bomb.

I am brutally honest about everywhere I visit because I can. My first glance at this location gave me a iffy vibe since it was a bit run down looking. Aside the appearance I figured I'd give them a chance and try something from each price category and rate them. The weed Averages about 3.5 and like any customer you really need to make sure what your getting hasn't been sitting on the shelf for several days. This place seems to keep its inventory updated while they offer 4 grams a 1/8. 1/8 starts at $35 bucks while that still gets you blazed and its not shake. The workers I found to be pleasant but at times a little spaced out but then again its a pot club lol. They offer a variety information on weed and if your on the run and need a tiny snack! they always have Omega3 Bar waiting when Ive been around! Sorry "Ocean Collective" but there damn good! I would highly recommend this place if your in the Location! I wanted to stand up for Ocean collectives Security and say they only turn away patients if they don't have the proper identification.My Pretty Face didn't get me in when i forgot, so have the proper identification and avoid the hassle. On that note! If you also want to avoid being turned away from clubs, pay the extra money and get the identification card with your face on it. This place is cool! The shop front is not very noticeable and very sketchy. But don't judge this book by its cover. The lady who helped me out was really friendly and another patient friendly chatted me up. They have volcanoes that you can sit and use and support groups on certain days. But I saw a sign that said patients could only be there for 20 minutes but I don't know if they actually follow that policy. The donation was very reasonable for the amount of medicine. No first timer deals but I will definitely go here again.

The only good things about this clinic is the weed and the prices. it is really dank medicine and the prices were good.
but with that said, it is very unprofessional. it looks like a bunch of people decided to just open a dispensary and see what happens. it was dirty. there was junk all around it. the security guard at the front was not friendly. the budtenders were too high and were NOT friendly. it was my first time and i was trying to decide what i want, and they were not helpful. they made me feel rushed. -

This is my favorite club in the city. I can't describe how highly I would recommend it. These other reviews are crazy and suprising to me that give it low stars.
I have been going to this place several times a week for years. They used to be near where I lived, but I still venture out to go there. Let me give you a complete review of why this is THE place to spend your cash for your stash.
The guys that work there and own the club are cool gangsters.They probably were drug dealers before they opened the club, but not in a heartless kind of way. They are really nice people that feel they are doing you a great service by providing you with pot, and they are. They remember who you are. They're nice to you and will help you decide what bud is the best for your needs. They know their product better than anyone, and can accurately tell you how much better strand a is than strand b, the differenece, etc. They will tell you when spending five more dollars will be worth it. And they don't lie.
The product here is off the hook for 40 or 45 bucks. They have the same strand for a long time before getting a new strand, so if you find one you really like, you can buy it over and over. I found like dozens I really liked here. Northern Lights here is the best I've ever had (And I've had that strand from a lot of different places) for 40 bucks. Unbelievable.
The lady behind the counter is also really nice. You can tell she's always blazed and loving it. She's very very friendly. She also will hook you up with free extras, like joints, and will give you more than the weight you pay for. Being a regular here makes a difference.
You can blaze here, and should. The vibe is very cool. There's a nice dog. There is always a lot of cool people and occasional celebrations there. And there is a VOLCANO. A volcano is the most fun, purest, and strongest high you can ever experience, and you can smoke here without having to pay the ridiculous amount to buy your own. People here will also want to smoke with you. Its a very communal kind of place.
40 dollar eighths that are off the charts and cool people in a rad neighborhood. This is one of my two favorite clubs. You absolutely will not be disappointed. -

I had very positive experiences at this Medical Marijuana Dispensary.
First, You have got to love the location if you are a West of Twin Peaks neighbor.
The selection is decent. They have a variety of hash and concentrates.
The best so far for me has been the Bubba Kush and Purple Urkel.
You can self-medicate on premises. They provide 2 Vaporizers( the real ones @ $500.00 per pop)
The staff is knowledgeble and paitent.

This place has really gone down hill. They used to have great deals and a pretty decent selection. Sadly the shop has gone down hill, the staff has gotten really rude and the selection is become pretty weak. Someone who works there told me it's because the owner has lots of personal problems.
It's only real advantage is that it is the only shop in the area. I think if the city allowed more competition in the area this place would fold. -

mehh...haven't really been super impressed by this dispensary yet. It took a little while for the staff to warm up to me, which is one of the main things I consider when choosing to frequent a club. Their selection also lacks the variety of many of the others & prices are so-so. Sometimes they have good deals on concentrates. I think the main thing I don't like about this club is that you are shown the bud at a counter and then have to go to the window to get your sack...how do you even know if it's the same bud?! I don't know about you, but I like touching and smelling the same nugs that I'll be smoking later.
Usually I'll just pop in for compassion Thursday and maybe to get a kushkie, which is probably one of the best edibles I've had. The dogs are adorable too. This is convenient if you live in the area...but I'd much rather trek downtown to get my money's worth.Listed in: MMJ Connoisseur

ok honestly you just gotta come here a few times to really appreciate this place. My first experience here was pretty much like "what the hell is up with this place??? get a ticket and go to the glass counter??" but after my first and second visit, things made perfect sense. The dudes behind the counter are nice and helpful despite how some of them may look. The ladies and owner behind the glass counter are cool as well.
now on to the product.... for a small place they have a surprisingly decent selection
Flowers- 5/5 - I can't complain, they're not bad. Nuff said
concentrates- 4/5 stars only cuz they don't have oils, But their selection of hash is impressive.
edibles- 5/5 - for those of you who think their selection sucks... LOOK CAREFULLY... not only do they also have sugar free edibles, but their suppliers use pure concentrates. for someone with a high tolerance, they're quite decent in potency.
They also have my favorite product which is a medicated hemp balm. used for pain relief, that stuff works wonders!

Good friendly people all the way through (really liked the woman at the door), and easy access from my place.
Impressions after first visit: wide selection of bud, reasonable prices. Not so great selection of refined products, but excellent prices for what they do have.
They do a member-card thing that involves taking a picture of you and creating a record in their database, so if that's an issue for you this is not the right spot. In recompense, they have a Volcano available for your enjoyment.
I'll go back and verify first impressions sometime soon. -

This is THE place to go. Folks there are cool, medicine is great, many strains at different $$ levels to choose from, many hi-performance edibles. If you want a boutique-like experience, then this isn't for you - these are homies who know their stuff and will help you all they can, but don't expect white gloves. It cracks me up that some dopeheads on this site are complaining that staff at a dispensary are high!! YAH MAN!!! Fringe benefits rule. If you can't stand the heat, you better get out of the kitchen and go back to Burlingame. : )

PROS:
-Love the wide selection (arranged by price) to suit everyones needs. -Reasonably priced compared to others (an eighth of Super SIlver Haze at $45).
-Location, location, location. If you live in/around the area. The next closest dispensary is a 20 min drive away.
-More parking available vs. downtown or mission dispensaries.
-Friendly dogs always a plus.
CONS:
-No ambiance. White florescent lights, plain colored walls and basic tables and chairs. Doesn't feel like a hip place.
-Not a place to "hang out" as most customers just go in, make their purchase, and leave.
Overall, I give it 3-stars because I live closeby. But if I lived further away, I'd only give it 2-stars. -

For a small place they have a pretty good selection of flowers. Not the place I would go for edibles, but they do have a small selection of nice concentrates that run in the $20-$25/gm range. I've purchased flowers from the $40-$55 dollar range and found the medicine to be potent and flavorful. I love that they give 4gm 8ths.
Friendly security people which is good, b/c you might have to wait a little on a busy day b/c it is a small location. They are dog friendly too and I always bring my pup with me.
Yes - you have to pick up yours meds at a window but the lady who works there is really nice so who cares. If the counter is busy it's actually is better to do it this way b/c it helps organize the purchasing process.
The counter staff is not overly talkative or what I would call friendly but they're not rude and if you ask questions they answers and give suggestions based on product quality and haven't tried to sell me up.
I give it 4 stars b/c for size of the place they run a tight ship and offer quality meds at great prices with strands comparable and often better than some of the bigger locations downtown. -

i love this place! i go here almost every other day. Everyone who is down playing this Club is ridiculous. They have a GREAT variety of strains from 35-60$. and i get 35$ eigths and have never been disappointed( note that your only paying 35$, of course its not going to be the best!!!) Some people just dont understand that you have to PAY UP if you want a nice crystally bud. The people that work there are all very nice, they are just being very aware of everyone thats their job people!! Theres nothing sketchy at all about this place. Private Reserve gods gift- best strain from here. I love this place, ive never seen such a great bud and price selection!

This was the first dispensary I visited and I was really nervous not knowing what to expect. I felt very welcome from the second I arrived, even the security guard was cool. They took the time to explain what might work best based on my medical conditions and answered all the questions I had. Very friendly staff. The place is a little ghetto looking but the people there are top-notch. I'll definitely be back.

This is a great spot right buy my house. They have about 20 choices of bud starting from $40 bucks to $60 an 8Th. they have deals on OZ as cheap as $280. If you go on Thursday from like 2-4 they do compassion Thursday and give you a lil sack after you buy. "some times you got to ask" . The guys are really cool once they know you a bit. They have some hash for like 10 dollars a gr. but mostly 30-55 gr. i feel that this place is great on a budget, but you got to spend the doe to get the good shit. one of the chillest clubs i have been to always cute dogs and friendly clients. They have a volcano vaporizer you can use and a flat screen that's usually on CNN. Umm what else you cant smoke only vape. mos def worth the trip check em out.

Place has moderate meds, definitely a co op that was made for the neighborhood area and close co op for the students at sf state and for the community college down the street. Had a moderate menu when I went, got a couple of grams of their top grade (which i do at all clubs i go to for that trial run). Other than the Bubba Wreck which was moderate, it was not that great of stuff. Don't like the fact that you cant see the medicine weighted out before you. You order from the counter, then they write it on a paper give it to you, you walk about 15 feet to a really old bank break teller wall and a guy behind the glass gives you your medicine.
This is the closest club to daly city, and I am just going to keep driving 5 more miles to get to the city to go to the better co ops. But if i lived in that area or went to state/community college i would hit up this club more often.
Parking is a bitch since it is off ocean, but most co ops are a bitch to park at haha. -

This is my favorite dispensary. I love this place for its good quality, fair prices, and casual, "neighborhood-y" feel. There's been a lot of 4g specials lately, so I'm pretty happy with that, too. The people there are all really nice and helpful and they have vaporizers in there you can use, but I have yet to have the chance to sit down and enjoy this. Also, I love the dog... and the newly acquired fish tank.

After a quick depression bout I made a switch to sativa. Ocean offers some fantastic uplifting sativas through all of the racks. they also added another vape table recently. Still in love with the 1944 ocean collective!

The 1944 Ocean Collective is one of my favorite dispensarys in SF. Besides being very flexible in pricing they also carry the stongest meds around. They offer over 20-25 great strains. Screw Nor Cal Relief, go there is you want the snicklefritz shwag. Anyway Ocean Collective has a very helpful and friendly staff. They have a great ordeing system, the bud tender takes your order showing you the strain you can smell, but you can't touch, then he gives you your order on a piece of paper, you then take your order to the budtender behind thick glass and, she weighs it out and bags it in front of you. I always hit up their convienient Volcanos ready for vaping. They even have a nice husky there somtimes who is super friendly. Great edibles too. Hit up the 1944 Ocean Collective if your ever in the area, you won't be dissappointed.

First time coming here...the place itself is a chill lookin spot...greeted by a lady at the front door..showed her my rec nd ID..got verified pretty quick...i walk inside looked at the menus..45 dollars for an 8th of plat chem dog...pretty good right?.. The staff looks pretty blown...they arent mean or anything..prices are pretty reasonable..but one thing bugs me...u order ur meds an u take a piece of paper to some person in the back and they scale it out for u..anyway i look at the bag..same shit i saw in the jar..good stuff 3 stars cause i wish i can look at the scale when they weigh my shit...

Really nice selection on the cannabis flowers. This is one of those spots where you do not have to buy the highest price of bud just to get a good high. I stick with the $45 to $50 8ths and are sometimes better than the $55 and $60 8ths. Ingrid, Northern Lights and the kushes are awsome. But if you really want your bang for the buck you MUST TRY "THE WILD". I also read that strain on another review. "THE WILD" is the new strain of the century!
