Simply the best Catering in Durango for any event big and small...be it at the Strater Hotel, At your House, or even a wedding outside in the mountains...food and service can not be beat!!

History
Established in 1887
Private events have always been a part of the Strater Hotel's history. Society weddings for the daughters of Durango's founding fathers were catered by 1887 catering at the Strater Hotel. Trans-Atlantic Communications were negociated here. John F. Kennedy gave a campaign address in 1960.
Meet the Manager: Emily S.
Emily Spencer joined the Strater's Catering team in 2005 bringing with her over 20 years of hotel sales and catering experience. Before joining the Strater hotel Emily was Regional Director of Catering for Bristol Hotels and Resorts in Dallas, Texas. Emily is on the board as the Membership Chair of High Noon Rotary Club of Durango.
