Came here today for Sunday brunch. Food was phenomenal. I had the tart. It's a rich medley of buttery, flaky pastry, scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, arugula drizzled with Hollandaise sauce, all arranged in a gravity-defying  presentation. I stuffed myself silly but enjoyed every bite  My companion had the pulled pork. It drew loud raves.

The Sunday brunch atmosphere is loud and funky. The staff plays hits from the 80's. (I'm still humming "Fascination" by The Human League.) Interestingly, we were the only customers here from 10-10:45. I hope people aren't driven away by the prices. Our entrees were about $12 each. Sure, you're paying Manhattan prices, but you're getting Manhattan quality.

My favorite 14th St. memory: Drinking Manhattans and feeling unbelievably classy prior to going to see South Park the movie (yes, that was a visit from a long time ago.) The contrast was perfect, as were the drinks. They know how to make 'em here.

Another 14th St. memory: Taking a date their for Valentine's Day and having the greatest tuna steak I've ever had in my life.

Best thing about 14th St. is that it's high-class food in a sweet location and you can watch buskers from the patio.

This is the original Boulder Bistro. Still going strong and delivering consistent good food, drinks and service.

This place is pretty loud and the food is okay.  Location location location is what makes it good.  The real treat is the happy hour, when you can get an excellent burger and fries for $6.  Otherwise, the meals are a little overpriced.  Enjoy dining outside or by a window so you can feel cool and watch the people watching you.

A variety of options for lunch, including nice salads, soups, and sandwiches.
For dinner, they have wonderful specials.  We usually check the menu posted by the door before going in as the specials are the main thing if you plan on a nice dinner.
Good martinis.  The wine on special is usually pleasant.
