Every time I visit Healdburg, I feel a creative pull towards this store. There isn't an item in there that I haven't smiled at, or even lusted for; it's the sort of vintage meets industrial modern style that you salivate over in design magazines, or at least I do.
While the furniture might be out of the average person's price range, you can collect some of the adornments and accessories. For example, just this Friday I purchased two keepsakes:
1) This artist Megan Bogonovitch creates these strangely alluring mutant creatures by combining two molds and glazing them white. I settled on the double-bodied lamb!
2) There's a series of old classic china plates, each hand-painted with cursive lettering of the provocative kind. I picked up one with the word "Trollop" on it, suitable for eating off of or hanging on a wall!
Sure, you have to have a little PT Barnum in you to appreciate this sort of thing, but if you think your life is too serious, then 14 Feet is better than therapy.Listed in: Visiting Healdsburg

This is one of my favorite stores and I feel lucky to have it in my home town. Mike and Marnee, the owners, have their own personal style, which I think of as organic modern. They like steel mirrors and tiny oak school desks for children, succulents in old toy trucks, modern wicker chairs, steelcase-style metal chests... I rubberneck every time I drive by, and always see something in the window that makes me inspired. The best part is: they aren't design snobs, but welcome looky-loos with a friendly smile and a readiness to chat. Hope they live long and prosper!

This is a great store that reflects a distinct, and very good, design point of view. Lots of great items in all price ranges.

I loved this store and wish it was closer to my house. We found it on a weekend wine tasting trip and bought vintage posters, which are unique and look great in my house. I was so surprised to find such a great modern vintage store and they were very nice.

This is a great place to shop for unique, vintage mid century modern furniture. The pieces were some of the most unusual and best quality I have ever seen. I wish I could afford to furnish my whole home with these pieces!
