I has some data recovery performed here. The price was fair, and the service was completed quickly. The owner was always very friendly, and he took some time when I picked up the drive to go into the details of what was involved in the recovery. If I need anything done in the future i will bring it here, and I encourage others to give these guys a chance. They are fair, honest, and competent.

Quick service, fast, honest, great price. I'm a tech-savvy person myself, and had no idea how to fix the problems I had. Justin made it look easy. And the new shop is pretty cool.
(PS - Any other shop would probably have just reformatted the hard drive, but 12:01 fixed it *AND* kept all my files, documents, and programs intact!) -

Justin was brilliant.
A friend of ours just passed away, and her husband found he was suddenly password locked out of her computer. The anti-virus software had rebooted the computer automatically, and after it restarted he was locked out.
I cold called the top four companies off Yelp with good reviews, and Justin was the first to return my call (only two did at all). Justin let me bring in the computer the same day, and removed the password lock-out it in a few minutes. He then attempted not to charge me because of our friend's bereavement, even though this was the first time we had ever met (I insisted on paying though).
Quick, competent, ethical, and obviously a damn good person. What more could you ask for? -

Direct and to the point.
I brought a lost cause into Justin today. Dead laptop, was hoping he could breathe life into it. Alas, the laptop was beyond hope. But Justin took the time to diagnose it, and was very straightforward about the issues with the system. In the end, I retrieved the system and went on my way. Justin would not accept payment.
As a professional tech, I'm pleased to find someone of Justin's skill level who is still honest and direct. I've got over 18 years in the biz but don't do laptops and dealing with Justin was a refreshing change over some of the techs I've worked with over the years. And my last laptop shop (NWCS out in Tigard) closed down a couple of years back so it's nice to find someone I'm comfortable working with and am comfortable referring others to.
Thanks again, Justin. Nice to meet you!
EDIT: 05202011 - in retrospect, giving Justin 4 of 5 only because he couldn't bring a dead laptop back from the dead is unfair. So I'm giving him a provisional 5th star, contingent on the next job I bring him. I'm not in the habit of over-complimenting so we'll hope my faith in his potential is not misguided. -

I've used 12:01 twice in the last 18 months, and both times Justin was fast, accurate and well-priced.
The first time I had a virus on my PC laptop, and another local repair place couldn't fix it. When I got my computer back from that other company it was worse off than when I got it.
Justin repaired my damaged software in just a few hours and the computer was back in shape.
A few weeks ago I wanted to reinstall Windows and wipe my hard drive. IBM sent me a boot disk that didn't work, then they re-sent it, and it still didn't work. Justin took a look at the computer and had it fixed by that afternoon, in addition to reinstalling a new hard drive that was about to go out.
Justin's a pro, and 12:01 is a company that will go a long way. -

Could not recommend Justin and his shop enough.
Justin found the problems, returned all my calls, kept me informed, found the problem and fixed it. He could of tacked on a bunch of stuff that was unnecessary ( been burned before as i'm completely ignorant in the ways of the pc) but he didn't. In fact, he found the less expensive way to get my machine running.
Will from now on bring all of my pc troubles to his shop.
Take it to Justin, you get great service and your $ stay in town, you keep local guys like Justin in business and you'll feel good. -

Justin is great. He's always honest, direct and quick to respond. He's repaired computers for me and recently built one for me as well. He backs up his product and is always there for support, even when the problem is "user error" :) He's very affordable too. I heartily recommend that anyone in need of computer repair make your way to Justin. And his new digs on Hawthorne are even easier to get to...

Not only fixed it, quickly and cheaply, but managed to save all of my settings, and my data. Since the computer is under warranty, I got the hardware replaced by Dell, and then he re-installed everything for me.
He's magic. -

Justin is fantastic! He is fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and has great prices. What more could you want in computer repair. I was reluctant to use someone to repair my laptop after a bad experience with another shop where I brought in a computer and returned to pick up hard drive and a box of parts. However after trying to reinstall Vista or XP 30 times I gave up and surrendered my computer to Justin. I needn't have worried Justin had it fixed by the end of the day. And the price was great! I will be using him for all my future computer issues.

I'm a small business owner and my computer holds EVERYTHING I need to run my business. When it died recently during an extremely hectic day I freaked. I found 12:01 on Yelp, called Justin, and he was able to see me that day. He saved my data, uploaded it to a new hard drive, built me a new, better computer, uploaded everything again, and has used remote access to fix the minor glitches of getting all of my programs to play nicely with each other. He did it all for less than what I would have spent on the therapy I would have needed to deal with the stress of having to recreate all the data I could have lost. I've already recommended him to a number of people and if there were a 10 star category, I'd still give 12:01 an 11.

A one man show...and he is fantastic. Works out of his house and seems like a wiz with repairs. Much better customer service than others (wont name names but dont just look at overall rating on Yelp...read some of the reviews!!). He was able to fix my netbook screen that night after the other computer repair place told me to trash the whole computer!. Only complaint is that it took him a little while to call me back (understandable though). Thanks for the hard work Justin!

I had taken my laptop to another repair shop first, where they charged me $49 and couldn't fix figure out the problem. I took it to Justin and he had the problem diagnosed quickly and was very responsive to my calls and questions. I have my computer back now and its working good as new.
