Review from Chris B.
Bayport, NY
The last good video store on all of Long Island, and quite possibly the whole world. I go here at least once a week, get an obscure title, get a bag of popcorn, and the night is complete.
Forget Blockbuster. This is the place to rent a movie -
Review from Rachel W.
112 video is a great rental store for fans of cult directors and hard to find films. I never found anything better in the area when I was living in Suffolk.
Their cult section is awesome, it breaks it down for you by directors like Cronenberg, Lynch, Waters, Wood, Miike. Pretty sweet.
The employees are really awesome and knowledgeable as well, and always willing to give suggestions and just talk shop about quality horror and other bizarre films.
Sometimes they have trivia questions up as well, and if you get them right I think you get free rentals? I don't remember exactly. But this place rules. -

Finding old movies here is not a problem. A mix of VHS and DVD which are remastered has a great database and catalog. Once next to the Metro Diner, it has moved and I have now found it.
Recently it was sold, but It appears it will not change all that much.
DVD Rental was $4.50 and gives you five days to watch. I imagine a NYC movie buff director dropping by on their way out to the Hamptons Thursday night because it is the only store around with such great selections.
