I bought, and have lived in the building since 2006. As a Realtor I had plenty of buildings to choose from. I chose 1100 due to its fantastic views, two parking spaces per unit plus free guest parking, and its unapologetic luxury. The 17th-floor pool deck, screening-room, business center, large gym, and concierge-style front desk is on par with buildings on the Wilshire Corridor or Beverly Hills. I've never regretted purchasing my home and if asked today I would still choose 1100 over any building downtown.

First word that comes to mind? GORGEOUS! This building has insanely gorgeous views of LA (especially from the helicopter pad on the roof! Yes thats right, theres a freakin' helicopter pad! )
Second thing that comes to mind... PARKING! 17 floors of it!! Woop woop! No parking woes here!
Third; the building has a very sexy classy vibe that I'm absolutely in love with. Check out the pool deck; its to die for.
Not that I can afford to live here, but I feel that for the location and quality of the units, rent isn't all that bad. I checked it out today and I saw a 1 br for $2,200. Thats almost double what I pay for my current digs down by the beach, but for a high rise in downtown it doesn't seem horrendous. Shoot, I'd take it if I was raking in more dough. Maybe some day... -

Amazing views from the 17th floor 'skydeck', which includes a pool, jacuzzi, fire pit and even cabanas!
With 11 floors of parking for residents and 2 floors of parking for guests, there is absolutely no issue with parking.
For security, guests enter the huge lobby with soaring ceiling and must check in with the front desk staff to pass on to the residence tower.
The gym, conference room and media center are on the 3rd floor overlooking the lobby and are all free to residents.
Units on the 17th and 37th floors are multiple stories, while units in each of the 3 corners of the building are 2-3 bedrooms.
Every unit has a spectacular view of either 'city', 'ocean' or 'mountain' views.
A 'must see' for anyone looking to live downtown! -

if you're a fan of parking, let me tell you, this place has it in SPADES

thats 1, 2, 3... sweet jumpin' jehoshaphat! that's SIXTEEN FLOORS OF PARKING, FOLKS! more parking spaces than you can shake a stickshift at!
holy moly, i can't believe it. next time i need to park a car, you better bet your left nut i'm gonna park it here, at 1100 wilshire.

One of the best places to live downtown! Absolutely NO parking issues at all, for residences or your guests. Pool, spa, cabanas, fire pit, and BBQ's on the 17th deck. A gym, a movie room, and a conference center. Doesn't get much better than this.

One of the best place I've ever seen in LA. View is fantastic especially at night. Everything is very convenient to access including parking, pool, etc. For me, only complaint is that the area prohibits smoking. :(
