I love, love, LOVE classic rock. I don't love that The Bone is my only classic rock option on the radio. Sure, they play a lot of great stuff, but like Live 105, they seem to get stuck on the same songs, and play these songs over and over..AND OVER again. I like AC/DC and Van Halen just as much as the next gal, but I really don't need to hear it every 15 minutes. Fortunately, I get a couple of more classic rock radio options when I'm driving to the north bay for work.
Then there's Lamont and Tonelli. These two remind of those pathetic Dude Bro types that haven't grown out of their frat boy years. I'm not gonna lie, their juvenile pranks do make me laugh from time to time, but that's because I am usually deliriously tired when listening to them. I do love Sully though. I don't know why, I just do.
The rest of the crew on the The Bone are tolerable, and I really love Nikki Blakk's metal zone on Friday nights

I am a die-hard, loyal and hardcore bone rock girl. I love the music that they play and the people they have on the station. I am only giving this station 5 stars because it's the only classic rock station in Marin and that's why I love it. However, I can't stand that they play the same music day in and day out. Sure don't get me wrong, I love classic rock, it's what I am all about but, how many time's do we need to hear "Beast of Burden" by The Rolling Stones. Or, Pink Floyd "welcome to the machine?" I highly believe they need to change their stations format and bring in some new songs on it. The DJ's are cool, I love the "Hot Lunch." But Lord Jesus play something new, or don't play the same stuff every day! However, I guess that's why I am a loyal listener to this station because I enjoy all of the same stuff. It's a double edge sword on this, but I'll keep on rockin' to it.

The Bone is the Taco Bell of Bay Area radio.
Taco Bell has no more than seven ingredients, and everything they make is just a rearrangement of these components.
While occasionally satisfying, there are dire consequences if one overindulges.
But once in a while it is great to come back and enjoy something that you know is just terrible for you.

This is my favorite radio station since KSJO went belly up years ago. I listen to this station every single day on my drive to work. Lamont and Tonelli and The Weed are by far my favorite radio personalities I have thus heard so far.
And I have yet to see any TaTa's on Tuesday. What gives?!? 680-S in the AM and 680-N in the PM ladies if you please...
Not many stations left that play rock. Come on SF bay area. We need are Heavy Metal.
I Want To ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are my fellow Headbangers????????????
Oh, yeah, you guys are too stoned to move off the couch. Munchies anybody. Well, thank goodness I have a CD player and my Ipod. I can headbang down the road as long as it's legal. Even if not ,F#%K U I like my music loud. "LONG LIVE ROCK".

Some of my favorite Rock covers performances:
"Come Together" - Aerosmith
"Taxman" - Stevie Ray Vaughn
"Knockin' on Heavens Door" - Guns & Roses
"Crossroads" - Cream
"Black Magic Woman" - Santana
"Superstition" - Stevie Ray Vaughn
"Turn the Page" - Metallica
"American Girl" - Lenny Kravitz
"You Shook Me" - Led Zepplin
"All Along the Watchtower" - Jimi Hendrix
"Voodoo Child" - Stevie Ray Vaughm
"Twist and Shout" - The Beatles
"Revolution" - Stone Temple Pilots
"Signs" - Tesla
"Susie Q" - Creedence Clearwater
"Proud Mary" - Tina Turner
"Fever" Ray Charles & Natalie Cole
I think I have heard all of these and many more (Like Tool's version of Led Zepplins "No Quarter") on the Bone - except for "Fever".
The Bone definitely rocks. I listen to them about 30% of the time my radio is on. But the morning show has gotten old. I'm sorry, but listening to some woman call in and talk about how she is going to flash everyone on the 101 with a Bone bumper sticker every Tuesday morning just doesn't do it for me. Yes, there are some occasional funny moments, and Sammy the Psychic is fun to listen to. But other than that, the morning show is teenage boy / freshman frat humor. Definitely not my choice in the morning.
The afternoon (Nicki Black) and evening (Joe Rock) DJ's are cool.
But how many times can you play "Highway to Hell". I swear I hear it every other day.

I love the bone!!!!!!!! I will shout it out with glee. Ever since 92.3 went under, I very happy they were around.
Lamont and Tonelli ARE funny, and Sully is just the flunk monkey. Like boy Blunder, and such. The Ta-Ta Tuesdays are killer, come on, who wouldn't like to see ta-ta's on the way to work.
There bits are corny, but funny. I like the streaming on line, and no there not the first to do it, but being able to see the live vid cast is cool.
But after a few beers I can get into rock mode pretty quick when the bone is in the zone!!!

This is what passes for morning radio in the bay area I guess. Christ what a joke. Stupid fake phone calls, tata Tuesday, whip em out Wednesday and dirty Friday are all for the douchebags of the world. At least at 10:00 a.m. The Weedman comes on and gives this station an ounce of credibility. The 20 somethings that I supervise laugh they're dumb asses off all morning while listening to it. So if you are a drug addled 20 something you may enjoy the baseless humor they try and infuse into the programming. Personally I get tired of having my intelligence assaulted by the tools at The Bone 107.7.

It's in the blood. Rock and roll, and party all night long. Well this is the last great station we have. The Bone Rules. Everytime I'm driven and hear some crap station someone is blasting I crank it louder. Thank God for Metal. Crank it up.

The Bone sucks.
Lamont and Tonelli and their producer Sully have shit for brains. That morning show has the intellect of a 2 year old. There bits are horrible. I mean really bad. Those 2 boneheads have been in business for 20 years and I couldn't guess how until I realized how many construction workers are driving to work high in the morning. You gotta get loaded to think this pile of shit station is funny.
They specialize in playing the same AC DC songs and Pink Floyd songs so many times that even the most avid fan would start to hate them.
Avoid this station at all costs it will literally burn brain cells through the radio and make you dumber than you already might be.

Though I treasure each and every broadcast of the Bone's Metal Zone on Friday nights and Ta-Ta Tuesdays gives me something to look forward to come every Tuesday I find the choice of music being played to be inconsistent quality wise, in my admittedly subjective view.
And while I like a lot of the classic rock (i.e. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Black Sabbath) and like the way it's mixed in with newer stuff I just cannot stomach shit like endless segments of that execrable George Thoroughgood and goddamned Pink Floyd.
Hey Nikki, Joe, and Steve - I think you guys are great DJs but those bands truly suck leper dicks.
And swallows.
Hopefully this year's Little Steven's Underground Garage will play some more Xmas songs again by oldies bands like Del Shannon, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, etc. come the Holiday Season.

The way the Bone has grown, with additions like Lamont and Tonelli, Nikki Black, and Joe Rock, I am impressed. I used to be an avid KSJO fan, and now that they are a Hispanic format, the bone is it! I love their quality selection of music and their dedication to their listeners!
The Bone Rocks!
Gosh, Tim G, soo harsh. You must be forced to listen to this morning show while you're at work, huh? That's too bad. What's the point of having a rock station if it's going to play the same songs over and over again? Euw; probably a clear channel station and that would be why the morning show people have no souls. Yeah, I said it. NO SOULS. If they're not owned by clear channel, the people in charge there should be banging their heads against the wall for their lack of creativity. Prank calls? Please. That went out of style for a reason. If you don't believe me, check out Dave Chappel's poem about Ashton Kutcher on you-tube. Why anyone would want to start the day with that kind of negativity is beyond me. Change, "The Bone;" for the love of God, CHANGE.
how far we have fallen...KRQR and KSJO were the end of rock in the Bay Area.
tata tuesdays pushed me over the edge, I finally bought a sirius radio.

I love/hate THE BONE!...
This is a simple review, dear to my heart and not..yet still connected.. odd..
Read on ...
You will C Y..
I heart Steven Seaweed..
We go back a long way..
On my way to work at my Sister & Bro-n-law's place in San Leandro, from martinez I'ld listen to Steven Seaweed, on KRQR.I first became familiar with the Hot Lunch, on this drive.
DO YOU remember the day?!
So, a LOT of time passes, I have a kid, two, and I am listeneing to the BONE with the childish antics of L & tonneli, ugh!
I am so glad Faith disappeared! AND she did just disappear! Thank God! Just as well with Laura.
Then, I put in my request to be a guest on the hot lunch Fridays...
I got a call from Steven, himself, to do the Hot lunch Home Town Gilroy in 2004, at happy Dog Pizza, great Pizza! 'nother review..
I show up 15 minutes early after driving a happy hour with kids in tow.
Wow!
Steven showed up 15 minutes later, and I had such a blast! One of my husbands clients heard me and asked about it! Too cool! The pizza here rocks and so Does Steven! The skeleton crew said that he is the nicest and hasn't got a big head -like some others eh hmm..L & T...They are just not nice, Uhhh the call to the girl who tried out for 49'ers and said she was good for having a CLUB foot, even though she didn't have one, ( I was born club footed), not fucking cool.. they loose 2 stars for that, and I hate their 13 year year old antics! to this day!....F*%@ L& T!
But Steven is class-act and we are friends.
