I have been here twice in the last few weeks. The space has gone through a face lift. I could not find coat check the first time I was here. However,  I did find them the second time. The coat check girls and bartenders are really nice. Security is tight but friendly. Not a fan of the $4 water.

If you've seen We Own The Night, you know how Joaquin Phoenix owns that night club were a lot of shady business and drugs are involved?

...Yeah, 1015 is like that. I went there on a Satuday, which happened to be the weekend of Pride. The floor I was on remotely resembled the crowd from Abyss that one Saturday. Oh wait, it IS the same crowd.

The top floor was strictly for topless gay guys, and the bottom floor was for the trance junkies aka E-tards. Ugh, couldn't find my place in ANY of the floors, so I sucked it up and chilled for the rest of the night in the main room.

Parking is 20motherfuckindollars!

If you like Abyss, you'll like 1015.

I went last night to see Infected Mushroom, & on the way up was reading some of these reviews on my phone. I think y'all are being way too harsh on the place; it is what it is.

Parking was easy to find, I waited in line 10 minutes to get in (at 12:00, an hour before Infected's set), no problems with security, good  crowd. Everyone's just letting loose & doing their thing, unlike other places where everyone is preoccupied with how they look & just there to check the crowd out.

I like the space itself as well. Four different rooms, a lot of space & even places to just sit & chill out...it's like a good medium between a massive & a small party.

I'll be back.

WARNING ******* EXPLICIT REVIEW********************SCROLL DOWN**

Fuck 1015 Folsom!! I wouldn't go there to see Jesus fuck Santa Clause even if they were giving away lifetime supplies of hash and foot massage. Its packed, dirty and gangster (not the good kind!) They searched me like I was Osama and after I had a couple of drinks I asked the bartender for a cup of water and she said it was against their policy to give away water. They have a shitty little water fountain that dribbles out questionable liquid, oh boy! I might have been able to swallow that if the drinks were more affordable.

If you have any question, just dont go here.

This place is a deathtrap!  I was there for an event on Gay Pride 2008.  It was the Gus Present Colossus event http://www.cincsentits...

I don't know if it was the club layout of the event promoter who is responsible but in all seriousness it was a fire hazard.  The place was oversold. The layout was terrible.  You went up stairs to go back down stairs.  You had to go through this small stairwell, which had a bathroom located in it, and people coming up the stairs and down the stairs in one hurried line to get through the dance floor to coat check.  The coat check line was across the bar and through the dance floor.  It was terrible. I wanted to call the fire Marshall!  And then every queen in the city high as kites pushing their way not caring.  I was frightened for the people.

Gus Presents should have taken responsibility for this event and done something about it.  Greedy fuckers is all I have to say!

I had the incredible fortunate of meeting Tiesto last week, and as we were talking about the SF clubs, he said it best - "didn't someone get shot there?" Yes, someone did, and I was there that night. This place is terrible, massive B+T crowd, uncomfortably packed, always completely ruining my Paul Van Dyk experiences to the point where I won't see him here anymore. For some reason Darude always draws a good crowd, but I won't venture inside for any other reason.

The yelp elite event was awesome (5 stars) but the security there are still assholes. They should just change the name and have the entrance on Harriet St.. The bartender at the elite event was cool though.

This place isn't as sketchy as people make it sound, but as the some other reviews say, I did notice the pretty homogeneous Asian crowd here. :)
The first time I went here was for Paul van Dyk and it was AMAZING, but I went on a regular night the week after and it was disappointing - expensive cover charge, expensive drinks, bitchy bartender, and the music was just okay... I'm not a big fan of hip hop, so I stayed mostly in the trance room.
So yeah, I'd go back if another huge DJ is coming, but it's not worth it otherwise. 3 stars - for paul van dyk

Over the years, I've learned to deal with 1015 because I have to, not because I want to. I have some up with some strategies, that usually make going here bearable.

I always buy VIP tickets. Yeah, they are $20 more (at least for the big name DJs, which is really all I come here for). But, it is worth it:
1) You get you're own entrance line, of which there has never been a line that I have had to wait in. Hooray for not waiting in line. And no hassle whatsoever by security. In fact, I wasn't even carded either time I went recently.
2) You get 4 drink tickets, you can't get top shelf liquor (or second from the top shelf, even) but its 4 free drinks. I think for vodka the top was smirnoff and absolute. But thats big steps way up from unknown, no name bar vodka. If the show is sold out, they even put a bar in the VIP area (though that is not necessarily helpful, see below)
3) There is a VIP area. Its on the second floor and overlooks the main dance floor. There is plenty of room to dance, direct views of the DJ, sometimes a bar and VIP bathrooms.

So by virtue of this alone, I will actually go to 1015. They have the big name DJs (I was there twice in the last 2 weeks to see PVD and Oakenfold) and they have a truly amazing sound system.

But I still think this place could do a better job. Way better.

For example:
Me (to bartender in VIP area, obviously wishing he wasn't there): "vodka cran please"
Bartender: "no vodka"
Me: "ok, how about a beer"
Bartender: "all I have is hienekin"
Me: "ew. ok. gin and tonic"
Bartender: "no gin"
Me: "what kind of fucked up bar is this? You don't have anything!'"
Bartender: shrugs and turns his back to me.

W.T.F.

Another example - VIP area has their own bathrooms. Mens bathroom is on the main floor, womens bathroom is up a flight of stairs. First of all - who though up that brainstorm? Women wear high heels. Stairs suck in high heels, especially if you've been drinking. Why not switch the bathrooms people?!?! Second, third and fourth problems: three stalls in the ladies room. One is out of order. One looks like it was just built and has no toilet paper. Not only that, but there isn't even a toilet paper HOLDER. There is no place to even put TP. But its not like any of the bathrooms had TP (either time I was there) No TP at all, not even the remnants of a roll to show that at one point the bathroom had been stocked. Nada. And they wonder why the bathroom is destroyed at the end of the night with puke everywhere (oh yeah, thats the other thing I love: REALLY REALLY REALLY drunk 21 year olds puking all over the place - in the bathroom, in trash cans, in their friends hands....thats my favorite. Both times recently I saw girls carried out by security, half concious. Unbelievable.)

I like the redesign though. And I'm super happy that they moved the smoking area outside. I really hated having to wade through a dense cloud of indoor smoking to get around the place.

I really wish they did a better job. For a $40-60 cover I think its reasonable to expect more from this place.

Always heard about this place yet I've never really been...until yesterday (6/12/08), "the" Yelp Elite Event.  I guess, I really can't write a full review because most sections of the club were closed off.

The main dance floor is decent but has a huge stage. Really good for performance; concerts, drag show and/or big fat orgy (jk).  Bar manager...don't get me started...is gorgeous (+1 star).  Well designed club, which tends to get overlooked at clubs anyway.  Lot's of stairs...Nice, spacious bathrooms...for men at least. I didn't get a chance to use the womans bathroom.

More review to come later.

1015 has a reputation, that's for damn sure.  But before you jump to conclusions, realize that this place has been here forever.  In the late '90s and early '00s it was the epicenter of the ecstacy/clubbing/raving scene and attendant controversies.  Despite being relentlessly targeted by the cops and politicians, it has survived and, in many ways has improved.  It's still a haven for glowstickers and etards, but the sheer size and variety of rooms means there's usually a good variety of music, and the crowd can certainly change from room to room.  Some big names, especially when it comes to things like trance and breaks, come through here, and while the crowd can be a little immature, it offers more variety than other places.  The bouncers can be tough, no doubt, but considering the volume of shit they've had to deal with over the years (you are pretty much guaranteed at least one undercover cop there each night), they could be a lot worse.  If you haven't been here in while, you'd be surprised by the much improved decor, as well.  If you enjoy dance music at all, then you need to make at least one visit to 1015, just keep an eye out for a DJ you recognize and look for guest list deals.

I rolled into 1015 Folsom for the first time a little over a week ago for the Dizzee Rascal, El-P and Busdriver show.

Long story short: I did not enjoy myself. In fact, during Busdriver's set, I said to myself out loud, "Jesus, I can't believe I paid to be here right now."

I'll admit, it's not the best idea to go to a show featuring artists you're only mildly interested in. El-P is fine, but I can't say I've paid much attention to Dizzee over the years. And Busdriver - dude has talent for sure, but he has wasted it (IMO) trying to be overly experimental and emo. Note to him: Learning a little bit about song structure and applying it to your music does NOT equal selling out, FYI.

Anyway, the venue itself. The first room, which served as a waiting room for the show, is drab. The bar doesn't take credit cards and charges $5 for a very small selection of beers. The speakers bump way too loud in this room, especially when the music being played is dub-step (or whatever that BS was called).

So I was stuck in that room for a long-ass time - probably 90 minutes. (My bad for not calling ahead to find out when performers actually go on stage.) I was bored, my ears hurt , and the place was a big-time sausage party.

They finally let us into another room where we would actually watch the performers. This room also knocked, but not too loud like the first one. But, as other Yelpers already stated, there were technical issues most of the night. I actually preferred that during Busdriver's set (lol at the three or four different people I heard yell "That's the real hip hop!" Did you guys talk about that beforehand?), but it sucked for El-P's.

Looking at some other reviews, I think the place gets judged a little too harshly for being "scary." Sucky? Yes. Scary? I didn't see it that night.

Pretty good concert room keeps it from being a one-star review. I'll only come back if they feature someone I'm dying to see.

The place is a gheto. Packed with angry asian boys with small D... and big ego. Been there couple times. Went there for dj Paul he is very good. Although that security sup checks even your butt hole still place is unsafe. You wana party there take couple buddies  who are stand up guys and watch each other back. For some reasons the asian drug dealers get angry right away if any of their hookers looks up to any white guys there. Second time  there I got got thrown out of clubb cuz some asian gansta wana be and his buddies wanted to pick up a fight with one of my buddies (cuz they thought he was alone). Things however changed when they figured out the odds were not so good on their favor after all.
Im going there one more time for some unfinished personal business but I definetely will not recomend this place. Dirty, unsafe, people act like they are heavy on coke and E . (i thought E supose to make you happy not angry). My advise stay a F way from this place. Yeah If you have asian fevor there are much safer places in city to party. You always can go there and have good time if 1) dont mind getting drinks spilled all over you. 2) wearing a bullet prove jacket 3) packing a home made shank with you for self protection 4) making sure you pack a gun on your car just in case the ganstas from clubb will follow you. So you bee the judge this was my experince there. You can try yours

you know a club is ghetto when...

- they use metal detectors at the door
- "dress to impress" does not apply
- they let ugly girls AND guys on stage
- the bar is CASH ONLY

san francisco clubs have failed me again. do trendy clubs exist in this city? or do i need to just go to bars?

I love this place. 3 floors with awesome music. Great mixed crowd. Unforunately, my friends "accidentally" let me mix a few drinks. My last drink was a "beautiful" and after that nothing was beautiful. I ended up having to leave and got pretty sick. A nice hangover. I am definitely going back here though!

One less star cuz they wouldn't let me dance on the stage :) and it was hard to get to the bars...

Went here for the Busdriver, El-P w/ special guest Aesop, and Dizzee show last night.

After making a quick detour to the gas station down the block for a quick release of the urine, we ask the bouncer which line is which.  The bouncer had us stay in one line, and then all of a sudden made us switch lines because we had will call tickets.  Um, ok.  Why don't you just have lines marked and sorted out?  Whatever.

My friends and I walk into what turned out to be the waiting room until the show started.  The waiting room was a low ceiling, brightly lit room and had DJs spinning... i don't know what, but it was cool, i guess.

The doors to the stage open up, and we and the rest of the people shuffle in.  We wait.  Wait some more.  And I'm pretty sure we waited again.

Busdriver comes on and he's killing it.  He's commanding the stage like he's Patton.  Just killing it.  Then, one of his mics needs to be switched out.  No biggie.  Next thing you know the right speaker is freaking out.  It sounded like the speaker got blown.  Busdriver, rolls with it for a bit.  He starts up another song, and then cuts it short because something's acting up.  They think it was a speaker, but from what I saw and heard, it was a connection to one of the pads.  Busdriver ends up cutting his set short which was a major disappointment because his set was phenomenal.

During the break, my friend Franklin and I head over to the bar for more beer, and I asked him, "Where's the smoking section?"  About 99% of the time when I'm at a show or a club, I have two reasons to go to the smoking section: 1. I'd like to smoke a cigarette and 2. I wanna go outside and not be in a crowd and breathe the outside air.  So, my friend Franklin leads me up the stairs and around a dark corner and I see all these people smoking in a a small, confined room.  I turn to Franklin and ask, "Is this it?"  To my amazement it was the smoking section and it was pretty much a cigarette hot box and barely got through a half a cigarette before I wanted out.  What I didn't get was that people were content to just chill in the hot box.  I don't know.

Head back down and post for El-P.  He comes on and is killing it, too, but something's wrong.  Another mic isn't working.  C'mon.  I'm not sure if it's the venue's fault or the roadie's, but it was chill because El-P and Aesop were dope and their performance rose well above the technical issues.

Didn't stay for Dizzee because it was 130 and still had to trek back to SJ and get up for work.

In summary, the place is big, with a horrendous smoking section, and faulty sound equipment.

This used to be the place to BE back in 1996.  But I guess we don't party like we used to, do we?  Honestly, the place is looking better than it did back in the day.  Back in the day, they made this place be as DARk as possible.  I mean...literally, you could go into the club at 9pm, and leave the joint at 6am and not even know that it was daylight outside until they open up the doors and kick yo ass out!

But if you're into the famous techno/house music DJ's like Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, or DJ Dan...then this is the place for you, my friend.  If not, then stay clear because if you've ever had a migraine....you'll know that this place will give you JUST that....

PS.  This place is so last year.  On to new digs buddy!

I use to live here early 2000-2003. Had some of my best clubbing memories there when they brought Sasha, Digger, Sander, Danny, and all the kingpin Progressive DJs.

What was really qool was that it was STILL an underground club without the hip-hop (nothing against hip-hop), although it did suck when the fights happened and it become a bit more 'hip' for non-electronic fans to go too.

I actually think ever since they 'updated' the place about 2 years ago it really went downhill, and even though they've really focused on Trance, it doesn't feel the same (and it's not cos I'm getting older), but that 'magic' that I experienced has left. Too bad, hope they get some really good residents/djs there to give me a reason to drop by again.

Ahhhh, the heaven for those who get high off E and other recreational drugs . . . 1015 Folsom!!!  I've been to 1015 many times and I don't really consider it as one of my favorite clubs.  It's a cool place to lounge and drink.  The venue is very filthy and the crowd can be a little "ghetto."  Parking is very difficult and the bouncers there think they are God's gift to the night life industry.

I'm a fan of trance and house music, but only to listen to, not to dance with.  They have a cool bar upstairs where you can drink and just relax while listening to some good beats.

I think you should at least check out 1015 at least once so you know what it's about.  Then, you will be able to make your own decision on what you would rate it.

Ugh.  I could get shot in my own neighborhood for free.

1015 has a serious mental disorder, as evidenced by the screwed up room designs.  (hello Winchester Mystery House)

First "foyer" room:   The first room you walk into has this weird low ceiling and a round bar (poorly placed) right near the entrance.  As such, you can never get a drink (cause the bar is long, round and is run by 1 inept bartender) and you get pushed around by all the folks wandering in.   The music is consistently too loud for the size of the space.

Upstairs, to the right:  stripper pole.  The air was heavy with mutated and airborn STDs.  Enough said.  Pass me a hand wipe...

On the ground level, off of the foyer and down a ramp, there was the main dance room.  The main dance room is a two-story, badly designed, free-for-all.

The bar is set on the very far side of the room...next to two stair ways...so again, you get jostled and thrown around as people try to move between the main (yet small) "dance floor" and the upper level.

The upper level of the main dance floor is designed with gaudy, over-sexed lounge seats/couches.  Even better (or worse) on the upper level, they placed the lights right in the way of the visuals...so, as you sit on the sticky couches, you can't see a damn thing.  The women's bathroom is on the third floor and it's disgusting.  No TP, broken doors, no soap...might as well squat on the curb on your way back to your car.

That is, if your car is still there when you leave...

We saw Busdriver and some other hip hop. The acoustics were disastrous...so bad, in fact, that Busdriver quit his set.  Mics weren't working, sound was going in and out, sudden screeching noises...dear God!  It was painful.

Danny Tenaglia.

A friend and I wound up here after the Sasha/Digweed gig at the Warfield.

3 stars for the venue, 5 stars for the set Danny threw down.
I no longer believe he's overrated.
************
The crowd and the staff seemed pretty chill.
1015 is not really my sorta scene.
I'm too damn old to play the clubrat.
I prefer chillin at a smaller spot with grown ups.
True, 1015 can have some fine eye candy.
But reality is, I'm drunk, it's dark and they're not hot if I'm not drunk and it's not dark.

This is by far the scariest venue ever. I would never come here without at least 5-10 guy friends with me and my girls at all time, and No, I am not joking.

My last memory at 1015 has to be traced back to 2006's Paul Van Dyke's concert in Spring.  As usual, the placed is packed with people on drug, angry Asian bad boys, and more angry Asian dudes.  (I thought the drugs make people happy??)  My girl was being stepped by this dude multiple times, so she got really mad and kicked back at him. Naturally I went up and confronted the guy as that's what guys do.   What I saw was a bald Asian Vietnamese guy about 180lbs and 5'5 height, with more tattoo than a lizard.  Good thing I had about 5 friends with me so he just glanced at us and left.  It's really killed the fun.

To add more oil to the flame, that night there was 1 guy who got shot in the basement, so the whole venue was surrounded by about 20 police patrol cars, we didn't get to come out until 6am.

With the crowd aside, 1015 is a big venue.   One of the biggest trance venue in the city, second only by Ruby Skye.  There are restrooms among all the floors, so the design itself isn't too bad.  However the entrance to main dance floor is very narrow, not much bigger than the regular doorway, so it gets hectic most of the times with many raving people pushing each other. So watch your steps.

I haven't gone back since 2006.

Went here to see Dizzee. Doors open 9-midnight; show doesn't start 'til 11pm? WTF? The acts were there, their bus drove up before the doors opened on this place. I had to jet to BART to get home (suck-ass transit stops ~ midnight) so I only caught Busdriver's very short set that suffered from mic problems and other problems. I don't know who was to blame, but they fukd around with equipment 10-11pm on the stage, so I blame the venue. Next time, I will drive myself and/or get some sort of guarantee when the act will hit the stage.

Sound was good, but a bit bassy and loud (no surprise, every venue seems to think they need to push it to 11, I expected this and brought some good earplugs to attenuate the volume.)

DJ while we waited (and waited, and waited) was good, but not great...Decent tunes, but some really bad mixing work at times.

I echo Gene A.'s comments...

i walk up to the bar....waiting to get the bartender's attention....
blockhead #1: hey..ay thair beautifol    (clearly DRUNK)
p: um, hi....
blockhead #1: (gawking) nice outfit
p: uh....thanksss?
blockhead #1: are yooooo a model?
p: hm....are yooooo my father?
(flattery will get you NOwhere)

apparently, "we are having a girl's night out" was not a good enough reason. i had to tell a bunch of guys who insisted on dancing with my group of girls that   WE. ARE. LESBIANS.   so that they would leave us alone....surprisingly so.  perhaps they weren't drunk enough?

a major crime was committed.

                                                          my. ass. was. grabbed.

whoever did it, you'd betta have life insurance as your family will need it.  i will hunt YOU like i hunt vampires, and when i find you....i will drink your blood for breakfast.

As many have written, 1015 *had* a legacy of being one of the more progressive clubs in the city for a while, but that was not thanks to 1015, but the promoters who rented the club for weekly parties at the time. It used to be a fun place, I performed there myself back then.  But around the time all the lofts were going up in the late 90's, just about every building developer in California wanted that space, and 1015 managed to stay in business despite the entire city trying to shut them down as they did with many other nightclubs in the neighborhood.

At first, the security of the time was decent, but hard--due to the pressure from police to close down any club for the slightest violation. However I think that generation of security was human, and wanted to continue being able to look at themselves in the mirror, so I assume they all went on to get better jobs elsewhere.  They have been replaced by almost-antisocial types, who simply arent bright enough to have any reasoning (or dont care--even worse).

Its why youll find an empty house when big local acts play, the local scene knows better and will wait for the underground party the following night.

As pointed out as well by many reviews, the security is the biggest problem of 1015.  When the security team ends up being the biggest security risk to patrons of the club itself, its a dangerous place to be.

I've been to the 1015 twice, once for PVD and once for Oakenfold.  Both times were pretty similar:

1) Wait in line for over an hour in the cold to get in, even though our tickets were purchased well in advance.

2) Get hassled and talked down to by the cro-mags working security, even though I've got a B.A. and most of them are probably high school drop-outs.

3) Finally get into the place and have a good-ass time!

Minus the issues with getting in, I really enjoy coming here.  The main dance floor is outrageous (love the dry ice machine!) and the clientle generally very cool.  There is a side room spinning hip-hop that makes for a good oasis when the main room starts to overwhelm.  Bartenders all seem pretty friendly and hard working, and I've never had to wait long for a cocktail.  I guess the worst thing that's happened once I got in was losing my friends for a couple of hours (the place is friggin' HUGE and packed to the rafters), so make sure you and your mates all get cell phone service in the club in case you get separated.

There's a pretty heavy Asian gang presence there, and apparently there's been a few shootings as well, but I've never had any problems in that regard.

They definitely get all the best deejays, and I can see why.  It's just a shame that the security is so wack.

Not a big event on Saturday, but what the heck I still wanted to go. The trance room doesn't open to later so everyone was in the main room. Played old hip hop at first, but later on plays better recent hip hop music.

How's the Crowd: Boy...let me tell you...OLD!! Seriously, I have never seen so many old folks up in the club before! While in the trance room I twirled in a circle and bam bam old folks in every direction. Don't they need to be home and take care of their kids?! LOL. Another thing..you see people who can't dance..hahah but hey hey they are just trying to have fun :p Just go with people that you know you will have fun despite the crowd.

[Positives] Get on the GL and be there before 1015 to get in for free. TRANCE room is off the hook (terms of music)! 2 hip hop rooms, 2 trance rooms (1 main, and 1 smaller located down stairs by coat check)

[Negatives] Bar closes down early, bathroom dirty (girls), floors slippery

One question to my Asian brothers from the Southeast and possibly some parts of China about clubbing in SF in general.  What the hell is up with coming in a group of ~10+ and standing completely still in a big circle around a smaller circle of your girls dancing with each other and just watching?  No one can tell if you're with them or not!  So, chill the fuck out when someone approaches one of the girls.  They mean no disrespect.

+One star for being late till early morning.
+One star for having a bacon hot dog cart outside.

For those looking to "pick up" girls/guys, note on being open till early morning:  it seems like it usually gets crowded around when it's time for other clubs to close.  Meaning the people who come here then, are A) who's not done dancing/having fun with friends and have no intention of hooking up with a stranger, or B) those at the bottom of the barrel who couldn't pick up/get picked up by anyone from wherever they were before.  Just a guess...

O joy this place has been here for a while! It never really changes either. It's definitley a fancy place. Expect to cough up 20 plus for cover if you dont know anyone. Expect ppl to be on something when you're inside. Expect smokers. And o hell yeah expect alot of fun. It's definitly one of those places you'll be talking about. It's definitley pumping with good music since they usually have people that can spin and mix. A huge selection of music. And if you can blend in to the crowd, it's just down right dirty amount of fun.

Went for Paul van Dyk.  And for love.   Roundtrip airfare to LA is cheap, which is what I'd do next time he's in Cali over going to 1015 again.

It's been more than two years since I've been here, but over the course of the last night I went, I saw: an overweight 50 year old woman dancing in front of a mirror wearing a giant sheet-dress (you know, a dress so large and plain that it was probably made by cutting a hole out of the middle of a sheet), an 8 foot tall telephone pole-like giant man dancing with said woman on the dance floor and at least a half dozen people who I am confident had from some sort of mental disability. (Not that there is anything wrong with any of these types of people going out and having a good time but not really what we expected at a dance club in a major metropolitan city.)

I will probably never ever ever ever go back here.

Oh, in case you were wondering. My friends and I got completely wasted, laughed at the crazy people and danced our asses off. If you're down with that - by all means - go check it out!

I am beggining to like the smaller loungey places in the city , and have grown out of the big nightclub stage.  1015 is very well known in the City and is a huge club with 4 or 5 full size rooms.  The Music is usually house, techno, or trance and its open til 6 am.   Do plan on getting a hookup for cover, I have paid at least $10-20 everytime ive been there.  I always tend to lose someone and get tired walking 10 miles around the club to find them.  The music is pretty cool sometimes , especially if your under the influence of other things...

this place was aiiight.  Not alright, but aiiight.  I went here a few weeks ago for the Too $hort show.  I got all my drinks from the room you first walk in when you enter the club.  The bartenders were really nice, and I rarely waited for a drink.  What I hated was when we were in the main room with the stage where Too $hort was performing, people were pushing and shoving.  The many times I was shoved into a person (who was usually a female), she (they) would have the nerve to get mad at me and act like they were about to kick my ass.  C'mon people, we're in a packed club.  You will get pushed.  Remove the stick out your ass and enjoy yourself.

So the show was cool.  He had special guests like Dem Hoodstarz and Mistah FAB.  What sucked was that after about an hour of performing, either the sound system stopped working or the club shut  Too $hort down.  The crowd was pissed, even Too $hort was pissed.  He just walked off the stage.

I don't plan on going back here.  It was kinda run down and trashy.  Being this was my first time @ 1015, I had expected more.  I'll only come back for a huge headliner.  I'm cool on this place.

Went for Paul Van Dyk - amazing, as usual. The place did seem to be filled with drugged up Asians, but it was fairly diverse that night (assuming because of PVD). The place was actually much nicer than I had expected... The FOUR dance floors were awesome. The seating area was very convenient on both the
