Review from Mr caveman C.
Ridgefield Park, NJ
Here is our first review in the last week of 2011. We have reviewed one of our favorite places to be Pub 101 in Bagota NJ. We have been coming here for the past 8 months after after work for happy hour. We would stop by 2-3 times a week.
So the 3 of us met at 101 and started off with shots of Cuervo! 1 Jack and Coke, 1 Captain Morgans and Coke and 1 Captain Morgans and Sprite. Because we know the food here is off the hook we didnt need any menus to order. And with that said the order was in, 1lb of buffalo wings($5), Trio sampler which includes hot wings, loaded potato skins and chicken fingers(9.99) and a 101 Burger that comes with chili bacon burger cooked medium of course(8.99). Needless to say this bar and grill has it all, great food, great staff that knows how to treat there regulars and make newbies feel like regs!
So by the end of the day we killed the food with no mercy(UngaBunga!!!) and ended with a total of 9 shots of cuervo, 2 captain morgan and sprites 2 captain morgans with coke and 3 jack and cokes with the total bill only being $95.
$40 a head for great food and great drinks to feel great on a friday afternoon!!! Bring on friday nights!!! hope you enjoyed this review of Pub 101 in Bagota NJ. Please follow the blog http://MrCavemanChroni... or any of the social sites listed below and let us know what you think! we will be posting a calander where we will be soon so you can come join us at the venues under review!!! #UngaBunga!!! saves the caveman see you soon!!! Review from Mike S.
Bogota, NJ
What else is better than coming home from a crappy day at work, walking about 100 feet from your front door and sitting down to a nice relaxing beer and some solid and satisfying pub grub? If you answered something other than "nothing", you are wrong.
My girlfriend and I moved to Bogota back in the spring and our first dinner out was here at 101 Pub, we were welcomed right in like we'd been neighborhood regulars for years. You don't find that everywhere, it was a really comforting "welcome to the neighborhood" and really set the tone for our new town.
101 Pub immediately became our place to step away from the things that can get under your skin in life. It's a friendly atmosphere, the prices are fair, excellent Guinness pour, the bartenders and wait staff will be your friend by the end of the night. And the freshly made every day mozzarella sticks are battered in crack breading. We've had friends visit and every time ask if we can go to the pub to at least get mozz sticks. Melissa G., you could not be more wrong about these mozz sticks if you tried, I feel bad for your distorted tastebuds.
The burgers are big (but not overly huge) and delicious, always cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare. Try the 101 Burger (cheese, bacon, onion rings, chili) and you'll think about it daily, trust me. The chicken supreme sandwiches are also amazing; they had them in slider form as a special the other week, I smiled. Hell, I've yet to have a sandwich there that wasn't excellent. BLT is loaded with crispy bacon, cheesesteaks rival some of my favorites in Philly. My girlfriend is also a big fan of the tuna melts and shrimp fajitas.
101 is great. If you disagree, you're probably wrong about a lot of things you've done in your life. -

I've only been going for a couple of months, but I have to say I love it! The staff is friendly and get to know the regulars. There food is also good, and it's always packed for games. Overall, a great neighborhood bar that I highly suggest going to for games or just a night out with friends.

Great amount of TVs, plenty of televised sports. Food is typical bar food can't complain! But most importantly staff is awesome! This is definitely the "Cheers" of Bogota!

The 101 is the perfect place to go grab a quick bite and some drinks with friends without even having to worry about your appearance. You can go in some jeans and flats and its ok. It does get packed on a Thurs- Sat with locals and its a good vibe. I love love love love the wings and their long island iced teas. I'm a wing person and I'm picky , i love going with my girls to grab some wings and a long islands.

I live 4 blocks from 101 and am here quite frequently. I love the "neighborhood bar" vibe. It's a relaxed atmosphere where you can just unwind without having to worry about appearances. Just relax and have a beer!

We did a promotion here for the new digital jukebox. The staff were great. They hooked us girls up. The weekends were busy. This little pub has great chicken nachos and jack and diet coke ;). Parking is a little tricky if it's crammed inside but you will find a place. There's really such a diverse range of people their. So it's entertaining for every age. Laid back place just to chill and hang out.

Ridgefield, NJ
Ehhh....not so good. First, the soda is not Coke or Pepsi, it's some generic "cola". If you do a big bar business like this then that is just being cheap. We ordered the trio appetizer which is wings, potato skins and mozzarella sticks. There are some baby chickens without wings out there because these were the smallest wings I have ever seen. The mozz sticks were right out of a frozen food bag. The sandwiches were ok and the fries were alright but it's loud and uncomfortable and I would not recommend it.

Great place to come after work, on a Friday night, or even a Saturday afternoon. Atmosphere is relaxed, drinks are cold and food is great! Friendly waitstaff, neighborhood crowd but always welcoming to "outsiders". Never disappoints.

New York, NY
Decent bar with a section for dining. Not a ton of beers on tap, but a decent enough variety to happily watch the game.
Service to the tables was quick and pleasant, and while only one person had food - the steak sandwich - it got decent marks.
Not a lot of great bars in the area, so definitely a place good enough to stop at if you find yourself around and parched. -

A great local bar to stop by and enjoy a few beers, great steaks and delicious wings. The back room is nice for small family parties and the management is overwhelmingly accomodating.

One of my favorite local restaurants. This year they redesigned their menu and along with all my old favorites like the Roast beef with Mozzarella on Garlic Bread and The Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Honey Mustard, they also have additional sandwiches on Garlic Bread now like Chicken Mozzarella and Roasted Red Pepper..delicious! They have great Buffalo wings and plenty of good drinks. Great for dinner or happy hour!

I like the 101 Pub. I've only been about 4 times. They have a nice burger, and the wings are very solid (although a bit too small). I'll have to sample some of their other apps. Can't beat the price though - $6 for an order of wings.

Great drinks and small hometown atmosphere. If you feel like getting off that diet for the night this place makes a mean grill cheese and potato skins.

The 101 pub is a great place to go on many occasions. It's great if you want to watch the big game, hankering for a burger, a celebratory meal, or just a good dinner. There hamburgers are very fresh and there toppings are fresh as well. I always get the sauteed mushrooms on my burger which are amazing. Chicken fingers are a great appetizer there. The waiters and waitresses are all very good and kind. This is a neighborhood joint where the prices are a lot lower than they could be. It's the kind of place that every neighborhood needs.
