Great place. I'm not sure if Chandler still works there, but if he does, ask for him. Very knowledgeable. I bought a Tempurpedic bed from him about 2 years ago and it is an awesome bed. He didn't try to upgrade me to the most expensive. I told him what I wanted and he made some suggestions. He threw in a free pillow too which was cool. Great service and I am so happy with my bed.

Great sales people, horrible policies. We bought the mattress and discovered about 6 weeks later that it took more like 2 months for the mattress to break in than 30 days, which is the return policy. We called to see if they would do anything and they said "no", even though I told them I would buy another mattress regardless. We went to sleeptrain and now understand why policy is just as important as price. They offer 90 day return and suggest that it takes 60 days to break in a bed! I now tell all my friends "Dont go to 1800mattress!!! Which is a shame concidering the sales folks are good there. 1800Mattress, if your listening, you should have done something to help us! I will never go to your store again.

I went to this place on Saturday when my boyfreind brought over a sales ad.

We had been mattress shopping since October last year.  We kept running into Car Salesmen.  We never bought becuase we felt pushed and didnt want to be taken advantage of.  So we slowly looked around the past 7 -8 months.

Well we went ot this place and we got Chandler Shaw just like the last review. HE IS AWESOME!  This guy was not a pusher and his laid back attitude of what you want is what you want I am not going to push into something you cant afford nor do you want.  I promise had he not been this way we would've walked out like we did at  other places.

We showed the ad to Chandler he took the time to show us each mattress and what the difference where and when I went to the restroom he walked in and refilled the paper towels before I entered.. TALK ABOUT THE WOW FACTOR

He let us choose ourselves and was within disant enough to leave us alone to talk and find what we liked and yet still answer questions if we had one.  He owuld politley say I will be right over here is you need me for anything at all (Even the paper towels) :)

So we where set to buy th $599 and guess what we left with the $799 and a new bedframe for $80.00

We spent more then we planned WHY because WE CHOSE IT, not some pusher..

Chandler was so honest and inofrmative on everythin we asked and still let it be our choice he didnt say stupid things like oh well this one is much bettter because blah blah blah and thats why its a itlle pricier yadda yadda yadda......

He only gave the info needed and the gladly rang us up scheduled out delivery and after 7-8 months of matress shopping we walked out ear to ear honestly feeling like we got the best deal ~ best service ~ and NUMBER ONE  HONESTY!!

Thanks 1 800 Mattress you have a star on your team!!

I would recommend this place highly to anyone in search of an honest deal!!

I went to every Mattress place in San Jose.  This place was by far the very best.  Chandler Shaw the Sales Manager at 1 800 Mattress/Mattress.com located at 3405 Stevens Creek Blvd.  San Jose, Ca      408-261- 0491 cshaw@mattress.com was one of the nicest sales associates I've ever met.  He offers extensive product knowledge and honesty in a no pressure environment. I can't say enough nice things about this guy.  They had they best prices and fast delivery.  We love our mattress.
