For someone who doesn't own a car, this service is invaluable. Disposing of couches or other furniture of similar size will doubtless cost you a pretty penny. Renting a truck, gas, time, and perhaps even the fees at the local dump. For $188 i had a futon and a large group of boxes removed from my flooded basement. This not only saved me time, but made a rather frustrating day much more manageable.
I booked online at 10am and they called me just before their noon to 2pm window. They let me know their location and when they'd be there. They were on time, and gave me a basic overview of the cost and time before they started. They were fast and courteous, and even gave me $10 off for booking online.
Overall I'm quite satisfied. For what it is worth, I will keep this company in mind whenever I need stuff removed. -

We hired 1-800-Got-Junk after my husband and I moved into our new home which was filled to the brim with junk. It took John and Rob about an hour to fill an entire truck. The price was reasonable, and the workers were friendly, polite, and professional. I was very impressed with the service and will definitely hire them again.

These guys were great! Their pre-loading estimate turned out to be right on the money. The were fast, very strong, extremely polite and accomplished in an hour what would have taken us at least a week to do. Definately major thumbs up!
