I had a blast! Of course the wait was long because of Valentine's Day. Unfortunately our food took a long time to get to us, but the fact that our server (Stephanie I believe) and the manager were so sweet and the food was delicious made it worth it. Thanks y'all!!!

This should be considered a brunch buffet Mekka! Wow! Who ever thought of the idea for the same place to have a taco bar & serve biscuits and gravy I would like to thank them! This is a steal for $20! Not going to lie we really only went because it was a reasonable price and could accommodate everyone's breakfast wants....but we were happily surprised by the amazing quality of food!

I think I cannot love Torchy's enough. When I first arrived to Austin coming from Mexico, one of my biggest fears was to never find good tacos.

The real mexican taco is not fancy. It is served in cheap plastic plates, standing at the side of an old food truck with just chopped onions and cilantro, and a bunch of salsas.

Torchy's is too good looking to look like they sell good tacos, but they do. Maybe not the tacos I'm used to eat, but hell, they do have quality.

The only thing missing, and I do wish they read my comments and make my dream come true is that they should offer tacos al pastor. Not just pork in adobo, but the whole trompo with real carne al pastor, pineapple and guacamole included.
No one in Austin has real tacos al pastor, Mexico City style. Do that and all the mexican population in the city will love you.

One week ago it was the first time we visited Chuy's. Our waitress (I think her name was BJ) was one of the best parts of the experience. When she knew that it was our first time, she gave us complementary queso and dessert, which were all delicious. She was always there to make sure we were enjoying our food.

I'm mexican and, even when Austin has a great mexican food tradition, its difficult to find food that really resembles my country's food. This place might look a bit like a regular Taco Bell (which is highly criticised by mexicans by having everything but real mexican tacos) but it was a nice surprise to find good food in there.

Rude servers and slow service. It doesn't get worse than that. Unless you are there to spend a lot of money, they don't want to bother with you. We were there in the morning to wait for a tour bus and ordered a bloody Mary to share. Instant attitude from the server. Twenty minutes later, he brought the drink which was only five dollars so my husband gave him a ten. He never came back with the change! We finally caught up with him and said we wanted our change. He pulled out his wallet and there was our receipt. Aren't they supposed to turn those in?  We went again that same evening…Read more Rude servers and slow service. It doesn't get worse than that.
